Day 2 - Out and About on Mahe – South side
Join us for a full-day adventure on Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles archipelago! Our knowledgeable team will guide you through the highlights of the island's stunning south side, starting Domaine Val de Pres, a traditional craft village filled with colourful kiosks where local artisans showcase their unique pieces before crossing next door to the only Coco de Mer processing Factory in the world, Coco de Mer Cosmetics!
A guided tour offering a glimpse in the process of unravelling the secrets of the Coco de Mer, will leave you with a wealth of knowledge about this fascinating nut.
We then move on to Trois Frères Distillery in La Plaine St. André. Here, you'll have the chance to taste the local rum brand, Takamaka Bay, and explore a 200-year-old French colonial planter’s house, a treasured National Monument. Next, we'll visit Jardin du Roi Spice Garden, where you'll learn about the island's spice cultivation history. The beautifully converted Creole house from 1855 serves as a museum, and the inviting aromas of vanilla and cinnamon will lead you to a restaurant offering authentic Creole delicacies, paired with homemade juices. This experience promises to immerse you in the rich culture and flavors of Mahé!
Day 3 – Ste. Anne Marine Park Escapade
Embark with us on an island-spotting journey just fifteen minutes from Victoria. Ste. Anne Marine National Park encompasses five islands: Cerf Island, Ile Cachée, Round Island, Moyenne Island, and of course, St. Anne Island!
You’ll have the chance to unveil the beautiful marine life hidden beneath the cloak of the Indian Ocean in a glass-bottomed boat. Snorkel among colorful fish and perhaps spot an eel here and there. Hike across Moyenne Island for a visit to the nursery where adult land tortoises and their young are nurtured. You might even come across a beautiful pair of peacocks chasing each other in a never-ending love story before tracing your way back down the steps to the beach for a scrumptious Creole buffet lunch.
Day 4 – Le Petit Chef Dining Experience
