FD La Paz - Coroico Death Road – La Paz
Private transportation from La Paz to La Cumbre, from where the ride begins (4,700m/15,400 feet) and you will be able to see fantastic views of snow-covered peaks. There will be a rapid descend down winding roads nestled between mountain peaks, before entering the jungle – starting the most challenging part of the ride – via an undulating road. The narrow mountain side dirt road will take you on a descent of 2,000m (6,500 feet), passing sheer drops of over 1,000 m (3,300 feet), hulking overhangs and cascading waterfalls all the while biking through mist, low clouds and dust. As you near the end, it will progressively become hotter and dustier. By the time you reach the bottom (Yolosa 1,100m/3,600 feet) you will be tired, hot, dirty and exhilarated. Just below the village of Yolosa, you will be able to relax and enjoy a late pasta lunch and salad buffet at La Senda Verde Animal Refuge. Return to La Paz.
There is also an opportunity to see the rescued animals.
