Day 1

Arrival in Bologna and transfer to 4* Hotel. **You can arrive from other Italian cities by train at Bologna Central Station or by plane directly to Bologna. Lunch in a typical restaurant in the historic centre to taste the flavours of this Region. Guided tour of the city's main monuments walking under the worldwide famous arcades (Portici) Unesco Heritage. Discover “the 2 towers” the most iconic symbol of Bologna, the huge Piazza Maggiore, where you will be seduced by some of the buildings overlooking the square: Palazzo d'Accursio (the City Hall) and the Clock Tower, reach the top and enjoy a unique breathtaking panorama. The Basilica of San Petronio, housing the largest sundial in the world (67 meters). Around the corner, you can admire the Neptune Fountain, one of the symbols of the city and Palazzo Re Enzo, which conceals the Voltone del Podestà, representing one of the so-called "7 secrets of Bologna." Dinner at the hotel or outside restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at Hotel. Guided tour through the ancient market in the old market Quadrilateral, where the city's main craft associations have been working and selling their products since the Middle Ages. In these narrow alleys most of these stores have preserved their original architectural layout and furnishings, creating an atmosphere suspended in time. Culture and experience will mix in a food tour exploring Bologna with tasting of its culinary delights. Taste the famous local “salumi” and cheeses, refresh yourself with a delicious ice cream, delighting your palate with typical desserts. You will experience the authentic taste of tortellini, parmesan and crescentina with mortadella. In the afternoon guided visit of the beautiful Archiginasio a unique experience back to the past! The Archiginnasio Palace is one of Bologna's most significant buildings and was once the seat of the ancient University (from 1100 a.c.)....impossible to miss! Located in the heart of the historic centre, it has housed the Municipal Library since 1838. Inside is the famous and historically oldest Anatomical Theatre built in 1637 to teach anatomy. The walls of the halls, the vaults of the loggias and the staircases are densely decorated with inscriptions and commemorative monuments making it the largest mural heraldic complex in the world. Day 3

Breakfast. Departure from the hotel to Sant’Agata Bolognese about 40 km from the city center to reach The Lamborghini Museum. A unique experience where motors and car models are the fabric and history of this Region. Lamborghini cars from 1963, foundation year, to the present with the futuristic latest models. Then you’ll reach the Bolognesi Hills fin the green Bologna countryside where you’ll have the lunch in a typical farmhouse or ancient renovated villa. After lunch transfer to the Sanctuary of St Luca. Guided visit: The Sanctuary of San Luca, which stands on the Colle della Guardia, one of Bologna's hills, has been a symbol of Bologna as well as a Catholic Marian cult for centuries. It is connected to the city centre by a portico that, with its more than 500 arches, is the longest in the world. After the visit back to the city centre and time at your disposal. Dinner on your own among the thousands of culinary proposals the city offers. Overnight in hotel.

Day4

Breakfast. Meet your guide and discover the ancient “Osterie” (old typical restaurants in Bologna). You will taste different kind of regional wine, how they are product and you will learn how wine and food can pair , tasting typical local products. Lunch on your own and time at your disposal in this amazing city. In the late afternoon you will join a cooking class experience to learn how to prepare the most traditional Bolognese Pasta: Tortellini. At the end an appetizer with a small taste of your work! Back to the hotel time at your disposal. Overnight.

Day 5

Breakfast. Time at your disposal to discover Bologna, for shopping and enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere you can breathe anywhere in the city Departure to the airport, train station or private transfer to continue your journey to discover Emilia-Romagna among mountains, culture, tasting, beach life and much more.
