Waterfront Lodge provides affordable Livingstone accommodation, and it is renown for being the adventure hub of the Victoria Falls region. This is where white water rafting, Upper River Zambezi Raft Safaris, speedboat adventures, river cruises, safari drives, and cultural tours start and finish. Not forgetting tours of The Victoria Falls themselves of course. After check-in, you will go for a sunset cruise departing at 16hrs local time for the duration of 2hours.

Day 2: Tour of Livingstone
Breakfast at the lodge. You will then have a guided tour of Livingstone and visit the local Mukuni Village. The town was carefully planned with wide streets lined with trees; a lot of the original architecture is still in place today. The tour will include a visit to the Livingstone Museum, which displays a comprehensive collection of David Livingstone memorabilia and a trip to Maramba Market, which is a bustling colorful market where you will find everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, to chitenge (local fabric). Then the even more exciting Salaula market, and see large displays of secondhand clothes, a great favorite of the locals. Experience not only the culture but the day to day for locals in this area.

Day 2: Mukuni Village Tour
A trip to a traditional village where the local Chief, Chief Mukuni, encourages visitors to his village which is home to some 7,000 Leya people, to gain valuable knowledge of how an African village is run and the day-to- day routines of the people who live there. A headman and guide will escort you around the village to show how traditional huts are made and decorated, to explain village politics and to answer any questions that a client may have.

Day 2: Dinner at the Elephant Café
Experience a three-tiered offering- including a Jetboat transfer, elephant interaction and an all-inclusive dinning experience that has become one of Victoria falls’ signature. The trip departs from upstream of Victoria Falls where guests will be observing game on the way through the National Parks in Zimbabwe on one side and the Zambian park on the other. Several rapids need to be negotiated on the way up (depending on river conditions) and shallow basalt rock channels avoiding hippos and crocodiles. The jetboat experience to The Elephant Café is approximately 30 minutes per way. On arrival guests will be met by members of a magnificent herd of rescue elephant for a once-in-a- lifetime meeting and interaction in which you can feed the elephants.

AGE RESTRICTION
Regrettably, children under 4 years are not permitted at the venue. Whilst the minimum age to
participate in the elephant interaction is 10 years, Guardians of Minors (under 18) will be required to
sign an indemnity form on behalf of the minors. A Guardian must accompany children under the age of
16 throughout the activity. There is no child rate. All visitors must be able to obey safety instruction to
keep calm and quiet at all times.
