This 4-day immersive journey is designed for travellers who want to swap the tour bus for a seat at a local’s table. From the coastal traditions of the East to the hidden musical sessions of the West, guests will experience Scotland through the eyes of those who call it home.

Day 1: The Coastal Kitchen (St Andrews & East Neuk)

Arrive in the historic town of St Andrews. Instead of the usual golf tour, head to the nearby fishing villages of the East Neuk.

Authentic Moment: Join a local family in their coastal cottage for a Cullen Skink Masterclass. Learn the secret to the perfect smoked haddock chowder, passed down through generations.

Evening: Enjoy a community "potluck" style dinner featuring fresh-caught langoustines and cranachan, shared with local harbour masters and storytellers.

Day 2: Poetry of the Streets (Aberdeen)

Travel north to the "Granite City" during the Nuart Aberdeen Festival.

Authentic Moment: Take a Guided Walk led by local residents and street artists. Unlike a standard history tour, this walk focuses on the "Poetry in the Streets" theme, exploring how the community has transformed urban spaces through art.

Evening: Attend a local "Open Mic" poetry session in a traditional pub, where travellers are encouraged to share a story or simply soak up the local wit.

Day 3: The Speyside Social (Whisky Region)

Head into the heart of Speyside, famous for its distilleries, but focusing on the people behind the labels.

Authentic Moment: Spend the afternoon at a working farm. Help with the daily chores before joining the farmers for a "High Tea." You’ll bake traditional Tattie Scones on a girdle over an open fire, discussing the challenges and charms of modern Highland life.

Evening: Participate in a local village hall Ceilidh. Don’t worry about the steps—local dancers will be on hand to swing you through the "Dashing White Sergeant."

Day 4: Hidden Edinburgh (Stockbridge & Leith)

Finish in the capital, but stay away from the Royal Mile crowds.

Authentic Moment: Meet a local food enthusiast for a Stockbridge Market Tour. You’ll source ingredients directly from independent Scottish producers before heading back to a private Georgian kitchen to prepare a modern Scottish lunch.

Departure: Conclude the exchange with a "Parting Glass" and a final story from your host.
