Day 1 – Arrival & Dinner in a Portuguese Home
Arrival in Porto and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, guests will be welcomed into the home of Marta and Ricardo for an intimate dinner experience. Ricardo prepares a selection of homemade Portuguese dishes while Maria introduces guests to refreshing Port Tonics.
The evening unfolds in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, sharing stories, food and wine around the table. For small groups, the evening may also include a performance by a traditional Portuguese Tuna, bringing music and academic traditions to the gathering.
Day 2 – From the Sea to the Table
Morning departure to the coastal village of Angeiras to experience the authentic rhythm of Portugal’s fishing communities.
Guests meet a local fisherman and visit the lively fish market to select fresh ingredients for lunch. Afterwards, the experience continues in Mindelo where, together with a local cook, guests prepare a relaxed family-style meal inspired by traditional Portuguese recipes. After lunch, there will be time for a walk along the beautiful Mindelo beach before returning to Porto.
Day 3 – Portuguese Traditions & Craftsmanship
Today guests will discover one of Portugal’s traditional crafts during a hands-on pottery workshop hosted in a historic family home. While the workshop takes place, a homemade lunch prepared by the family will be served, offering a taste of simple regional cuisine.
During the experience, guests will also learn about the history and heritage of the house, making this a unique cultural encounter. Return to Porto in the afternoon.
All year
