Apart from the classical hightlights that you will explore, you will also have a few days to relax during a river cruise on the mighty Yangtze River. Before the cruise you will visit the ancient capital of Xian and China's current capital Beijing, offering many sights and several UNESCO World Heritage sites. And you will visit famous Zhangjiajie National Park, the mountain area that inspired the makers of the movie Avatar. Enjoy the carst landscape of Yangshuo and the rice terraces of Pingan. At the end of the tour you immerse yourself in the dynamic atmosphere of Shanghai.

- Beijing (2 nights) incl. visits to the Imperial Palace, Tiananmen Square, Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven & Lama Temple;
- Highspeed train to Xian (2 nights) incl. Terracotta Warriors, Bronze Chariots, City Wall & night market; highspeed train to Chongqing,
- Boarding of the cruise vessel (3 nights) incl. Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai Pagoda, Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Xiling Gorge, a tributary to the Yangtze River, Three Gorges Dam;
- Transfer to Zhangjiajie (2 nights) incl. Zhangjiajie National Park & Tianmen Mountain;
- Transfer to Fenghuang (1 night) incl. sightseeing & boat ride; transfer to Pingan (1 night) incl. walks in the rice terraces;
