DAY 1
Welcome to Namibia! After your arrival in Windhoek, you will be greeted by our local representative. We will answer questions, exchange money together and help you pick up your rental car. Continue to your first stop in the beautiful and remote Kalahari. Relax after arrival and enjoy your first impressions of the country's fascinating scenery.
DAY 2 – 3
Enjoy a hearty breakfast early in the morning before continuing on to Sossusvlei. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit the highest dune, Big Daddy, and Deadvlei, the most famous viewpoints in this region.
DAY 4 – 5
Today we continue towards the coast of Namibia and the charming town of Swakopmund, famous for its German architecture and thrilling adventure activities. Typical Namibian hospitality, contrasted with the cool Atlantic breeze during a stroll along the beach, ensures an unforgettable stay.
DAY 6
Today you travel to the southern Kunene region of Namibia, also known as Damaraland. Once inhabited by hunters and later by Khoikhoi pastoralists, you will embark on a historical and cultural journey during your stay and be impressed by ancient artifacts.
DAY 7 – 8
Your journey takes you further into the breathtaking mountain region of Damaraland. The rough, fascinating landscape is home to a variety of desert-adapted wildlife such as elephants, rhinos, zebras and lions. Magnificent sunsets that paint the rocky region in soft red will be remembered forever.
DAY 9 – 10
Opuwo is a traditional stopover en-route to the most northern highlights in Namibia. On the way you have the opportunity to visit the Ovahimba Living Museum, a place where you can experience the traditional culture of the Ovahimba people interactively. Relax after arrival at your accommodation and enjoy all amenities that are offered. Included is a fascinating visit to the local Himba village to experience how this semi-nomadic indigenous group lives. They maintain a traditional lifestyle centred around livestock farming.
DAY 11
Here a unique and immersive experience awaits showing the traditional lifestyle of the Ovambo people. Participation in daily activities like harvesting, tending livestock and cooking over open fires can be experienced which provide an insight into the traditional way of life that thrives in this region.
DAY 12 – 13
You will spend the next few days enjoying spectacular game viewing in Etosha National Park. During an optional day game drive, explore the amazing wildlife from an open safari vehicle. During your safari, learn many fascinating details about Etosha as a habitat. Alongside lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas, Etosha is home to one of the most stable black rhino populations in the world. The famous Etosha Pan - a flat salt pan covering an area of 5,000 square kilometers - lies in the heart of the park.
DAY 14 – 15
Here the unique opportunity of immersing yourself in the traditional way of life of the San/Bushmen is offered. Learn about their hunting and gathering methods, the use of medicinal plants and the ancient medicine dance.
DAY 16
Your journey will take you near Otjiwarongo, a small town known in the local tribal language as "beautiful place." The San and Damara were the first settlers of this area, which today still has a strong German influence. Travelers in this region should definitely visit the local Cheetah Conservation Fund or the crocodile farm.
DAY 17
Drive to the airport and return your rental car. Check-in for your flight back home.
