Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation Arrive at Ol Pejeta, check in at The Stables, briefing, evening game drive.
Day 2 – Wildlife Encounters Early game drive, visit Sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary, nature trail & rhino cemetery, Morani Centre, meet Baraka the blind rhino, guided bush walk.
Day 3 – K9 Anti-Poaching Work with the K9 unit: feeding, grooming, cleaning; train with tracker dogs and join a tracking challenge.
Day 4 – Ecological Monitoring Fieldwork with the ecology team: predator tracking, identification and vegetation monitoring.
Day 5 – Northern White Rhino Work with caregivers of the last northern white rhinos; track and monitor them.
Day 6 – Rescue & Local Visit Visit Mt. Kenya Animal Orphanage, afternoon in Nanyuki (Equator & Cedar Mall).
Day 7 – Rangelands & Community Walk with herders, graze cattle, learn coexistence methods; meet the ecological monitoring team.
Day 8 – Final Drive & Departure Morning game drive, depart at 10:00 AM. Itinerary subject to operational changes.
