Locations

#1: Petrinska Rozhledna (Petřín Lookout Tower)

This tower, resembling the Eiffel Tower, features in the Oscar winning movie Kolja (1996). Climb to enjoy panoramic views of Prague.

#2: Strahov Monastery

This beautiful monastery, which was featured as Buckingham Palace in the film From Hell (2001) and as King Louis XV's residence at Versailles in Outlander (2016), is where visitors can explore its remarkable library and art collection, and enjoy a local beer in the pub.

#3: Hradcany Square

Featured in Amadeus (1984) as Mozart's house and Les Miserables (1997).

#4: Prague Castle + St.Vitus Cathedral

The Castle’s Matthias Gate stood in for Buckingham Palace in Shanghai Knights (2003), and its west entrance was used in The Illusionist (2006). Prague Castle also appeared in the film Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011). In Les Misérables (1998), the St. Vitus Cathedral was transformed into Notre Dame in Paris.

This street, featured in The Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian (2008) and in The Bourne Identity (2002), leads to the iconic Rudolfinum, also featured in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

The place where Mozart’s wedding takes place (Amadeus from 1984).

#9: The Estates Theatre

In Amadeus (1984), this is where Mozart performs Don Giovanni.
