The inspiration behind this expedition was the successful "Acropolis Expedition" of LCC DMC Viajes Dannemann. After 10 years and 22 expeditions to the Greek Islands, they've emulated the proven model to curate an extraordinary Viking adventure in Norway.
The fascination surrounding the Northern explorers, amplified by the popular Netflix series "Vikings", sparked the idea for this thematic journey. The allure of their lifestyle, culture, and legendary voyages has drawn the interest of tourists worldwide. Our Argentine LCC saw this as an opportunity not to be missed.
In August 2023, 17 attendees from Argentina attended the very first expedition. The novelty of the idea was even surprising to the Norwegians, who featured our endeavor in local newspapers, astonished by our use of Viking cultural resources to craft a unique tourism product.
A significant contribution to this endeavor came from our Norwegian DMC partner LCC Haman Scandinavia.
