10 Day Artuch Adventure

Day 1: Early morning pick up from Dushanbe.
Today we are heading to Iskandarkul lake (150 km) and on our way we will first visit the Hissor fortress. After Hissor we will head to Iskandarkul lake. After we reach the lake, we will have lunch and check in to the cottage. After check in we will go for a 15 minutes hike to visit the tajik Niagara waterfall and visit the snake lake. The name of this lake is given because of the shape of the lake.
Evening and overnight at the cottage. You will sleep in Iskandarkul Zumrad Base. The room will be DBL with own w/c.
Day 2: Iskandarkul - Alaudin Lakes
After breakfast we will hear to another amazing lake of the Alaudin mountains. The road from Iskandarkul to Alaudin will take 2,5 – 3 hours. After arrival to
Camp Alaudin we will start heading to Alaudin lakes. Hike will take 40-50 mins. Lunch. Hike around Alaudin lakes. Acclimatization day. We will be free around 15:00. All necessary equipment like tents and sleeping bags will be provided.
Day 3: Alaudin lakes - Muddy lakes (Hike day)
After breakfast we continue our route to Mutnye lakes. During the day, there is a beautiful panorama of Kaznok, Zamok (5070 m), Energia (5105 m) and Chimtarga (5489 m) peaks. The harsh nature of the alpine zone of mountains, hanging glaciers and steep moraine ramparts. On the way, there are rare birches and a small lake, nicknamed for its round shape – Lake Piala, those who wish can swim on the lakes, giant steps of a retreating glacier, polished rocks. Eagles can be seen circling high in the sky. The entire passage will take us no more than three to four hours, so we will spend the entire afternoon resting. The splendor of the landscape and the absence of vegetation create a mesmerizing picture. Night in TENT.
Day 4 Muddy Lakes - Kulikalon (Hike day)
After breakfast we continue our route from Mutnye lakes to Kulikalon lakes. The whole day hiking from Muddy Lakes to Kulikalon 13/14 km hike.

Day 5: Kulikalon- Artuch (Hike day)
Hiking from Kuli kalon to Artuch camp. Descent along a good path to the Artuch Camp. Our route begins with a descent along the waterfall and the Khodzharovat and Ruzirovat mountains. On the way up, during the day, there is an opportunity to admire the wonderful panorama of the majestic Kulikalon wall and the surrounding peaks over 4000m (Adamtash, Mirali, Rudaki, etc.). On the way – inspection of the Kulikalon Lakes (14 lakes in total) with the purest emerald-blue water. The lake inhabits with cold water fish Marinka.
Day 5 and 6 you will stay at Artuch Base Camp Twin room with W/c.
Day 6 Artuch - Chukurak lake hike
Another day Artuch base. Breakfast. After a delicious breakfast made from fresh local products, we set off on a hike to Lake Chukurak (2455 m) and Lake Ziyorat. Visiting local residents, where they live in temporary shelters and graze livestock. Local people bake delicious milk cakes on a stone according to a traditional recipe. A treat with local milk products. We descend back to the Artuch alpine camp, where a delicious lunch awaits us in the dining room. Free time. The evening meal will be the traditional Food of the Kings. Today we will share with you our famous recipe, and you can learn how to cook “Oshi palov” and join the traditional way of cooking. Overnight at the cottages.
Day 7: Artuch - Marguzor lakes – Panjakent
After breakfast we will depart from Artuch, on the way to Panjakent we will visit Lake Marguzor. Night will be at the hotel Hotel Panjakent Plaza or Sugd (will book Plaza immediately after booking confirmation)
Day 8:
After breakfast, before heading to Khujand we will have a tour around Panjakent and head to Khujand city. Arrive to Khujand, check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure Night in Sugdiyon Hotel (Free upgrade to delux depending on availability)
Day 9: City tour around Khujand sightseeing.
Night in Sugdiyon Hotel – (Free upgrade to delux depending on availability)
Day 10: Drive back to Dushanbe until the hotel or airport on the same day.
