Water Bikes:
Gliding across the ocean on the worlds most advanced water bike is a totally new and unique way to experience the incredible marine environment of False Bay in Cape Town – renowned for its stunning ocean and mountain views and marine wildlife, including whales, dolphins, seals, and the famous African penguin colony.
The premium water bikes are silent, do not emit any emissions, do not require fuel and will allow you to safely explore without an environmental footprint. You get a different perspective of your surroundings because you are elevated quite high off the water when sitting on a water bike.
These easy, no-hassle water bikes are very stable and simple to steer. They do not need balancing as with conventional bikes. No previous experience or special skills are required. The only requirement is you must be able to reach the peddles.
Vinebikes:
The Cape Winelands of South Africa is situated near Cape Town and must have some of the most amazing scenery and diversity this beautiful country has to offer. What better way to experience nature, culture, and scenery than on the back of an electric bicycle or e-bike!
While cycling your e-bike through the vineyards and historical farms you will soak up so much more than with any other mode of transport - you can simply enjoy the ride! Each Vinebike Tour includes either 2 wine tastings or coffee and tasting. Vinebikes is kid-friendly so the kiddies can enjoy grape juice instead of wine.
Along the tour, there will be plenty of time for pictures and as all the tours are guided by professional qualified guides - your guide will give interesting insight along the way. There will be loads of time for shopping! E-bikes are kitted out with leather wine saddlebags that make shopping easy.
Foil Surfing:
Have you thought about Efoiling? If you adore the idea of surfing and kiteboarding but aren’t quite ready to give it a shot? It is enjoyable, secure, and, dare we say, less taxing than its equivalents. To ride above the water, or “fly,” as the term goes, one must have an electric propeller attached to a large fin underneath a surfboard, which is what electric hydrofoils are.
One of the simplest water sports to pick up, foil boarding only takes an hour or so to become proficient in before you can stand up and start cruising, carving, and skimming the water.
How it works
A helmet, impact/life vest, and wetsuit will be given to you. You’ll get an introduction and a safety briefing before starting your lesson with the expert in the water. This is the ideal enjoyable activity to do with friends or family. For children who weigh less than 40 kg, there is a tandem ride option available with the instructor. For this activity, you don’t need to be particularly athletic or fit; the maximum weight is 120 kg.
Emission-free adventure
At its fastest, this amazing boat can travel up to 55 km/h. Additionally eco-friendly, foilboards produce no emissions and leave no wake or pollution trail. They are whisper quiet. A dam’s still water can be used to teach you the ropes before moving on to an ocean setting where you can soar over the waves.
Horse Safari
At Pakamisa your superior game-viewing vehicle is a horse! And these divine creatures, bred and trained by the owner, Isabella Stepski herself, are more than merely a mode of transport.
There are a few dangerous predators, but everything else roams in abundance and the sound closest to that of an engine is the horse’s occasional neigh at a passing zebra. Views are inescapable from almost anywhere on the property.
