Suggestive Program

#Day 1: Arrive at Delhi

Arrive in Delhi. On arrival, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Rooms will be available from 1400 Hrs.

Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many times, the city was built, destroyed, and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, several Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators.

#Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast, enjoy walking tour of Delhi.

Around 0930 hrs, drive to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh Gurudwara. Around 1030 hrs after visiting the Gurudwara continue your walk till Rajpath (approx. 01 Hr) which is the ceremonial boulevard consisting of politically important buildings and landmarks including the residence of the President of India, the Victory Square and the India Gate.

Continue your walk to India Gate (approx. 30 Mins), one of the most frequented tourist spots in Delhi that was built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. After spending some time here, resume your walk to reach Khan Market (approx. 30 mins.).

Arrive in Khan Market at around 1245 Hrs. Classy and posh, Khan Market is a favorite of the expat and diplomatic community. Enjoy your lunch at Khan Market. After lunch walk for 10 minute to reach Lodhi Gardens. A landmark that is a confluence of the essence and energy of old-world Delhi and urban Delhi, Lodi Gardens encapsulates an entire era of the Pashtun dynasty that ruled over most of Northern India during 16th century.

After spending some time at Lodi Gardens, meet your driver at other end of the gardens.

Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, which is considered the forerunner of the famous Taj Mahal and a UNESCO world heritage site.

 #Day 3: Delhi / Haridwar (By Train) / Haridwar / Rishikesh (approx. 30 Kms / 40 mins drive)

Early morning transfer to Delhi railway station and board train to Haridwar.

On arrival in Haridwar, drive to Rishikesh also known as the "Yoga Capital of the World”. It is a spiritual haven nestled along the banks of the River Ganges. Known for its serene landscapes, ancient temples, and vibrant ashrams, it draws seekers and adventurers alike. From yoga retreats to thrilling river rafting, Rishikesh offers the perfect blend of peace and adventure. Its sacred charm and natural beauty make it an unforgettable destination.

Afternoon is free at leisure.

#Day 4: Rishikesh

Early morning enjoy Yoga and meditation session at the hotel.

After leisurely breakfast, enjoy an interesting walk to explore the city of Rishikesh. Start your walk from hotel and head towards Laxman Jhula, an iconic suspension bridge that spans the holy Ganges connecting two spiritual hubs. Walk past the famous Ashrams of Rishikesh. The ashrams of Rishikesh are peaceful sanctuaries offering spiritual retreats, yoga, and meditation amidst nature’s tranquility. These sacred spaces blend ancient teachings with modern wellness practices, making Rishikesh a true hub of spiritual rejuvenation.

Later walk to the Beatles Ashram, inspired by the preaching of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who was adept in the practice of yoga and meditation, when the famous band ‘The Beatles’ set foot upon the sacred place of Rishikesh, it was an eye-opener for the world. Thus, after this famous visit of the legendries, Rishikesh became the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’ and has been in the limelight ever since.

In the evening visit Parmarth Niketan to enjoy the spiritual Evening Aarti Ceremony on banks of Holy River Ganges. It is a mesmerizing display of devotion. With chanting, fire offerings, and a vibrant atmosphere, it is a soul-stirring experience that captivates all who attend. The ritual's spiritual energy and the river’s tranquility create an unforgettable moment of peace and connection.

After witnessing the Aarti Ceremony, walk towards Ram Jhula and drive back to your hotel.

#Day 5:  Rishikesh

Early morning with a packed breakfast, drive to Narendra Nagar (45 Mins) to and enjoy a hiking trip (approx. 2.5 hrs.) to a local Temple atop the hill. The initial part 30 – 40 mins of the walk is steep uphill till you come across a countryside road. After walking for a few minutes on the countryside road, we again re-enter the forest area from where our second part of the walk begins.

During the hike you will also walk by local villages and get to see some fascinating views of the valley. As you reach near the Temple you are greeted with some fabulous views of the River Ganges meandering its way through Rishikesh and the valley. On a clear day, one can see stunning view of the Himalayan peaks such as Bander Poonch, Kedarnath, and Cho Ukhamba. 

Enjoy a Yoga and meditation session in the compound of the Temple complex with Himalayan vistas. Later drive back to your hotel.  

Rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.

In the evening, witness another Spectacular Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three holy important Rivers the Ganges, the Yamuna and the Saraswathy, is a most revered sacred bathing spot in Rishikesh and is situated on the banks of Ganges River.

During the aarti, the priests hold a huge lamp containing several oil-lit diyas and rotate their hands in circular motion, worshipping the river. This action is accompanied by bells, beating drums, and chanting of bhajans. You will also get to participate in this Pooja Ceremony and get blessing from the Holy River Ganges.

#Day 6:  Rishikesh

Early morning enjoy Yoga and meditation session in hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. In the late afternoon, enjoy another Yoga session at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight in the hotel.

#Day 7:  Rishikesh 

Early in the morning enjoy Yoga and meditation session in the hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Vashishta Cave (45 Mins drive). This is the oldest temple complex in the entire area, and you can find the description of well-known Indian epic Ramayana and Mahabharata on its walls. It is a sacred retreat for meditation and reflection. Believed to be the meditation spot of Sage Vashistha, it offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The tranquil atmosphere and spiritual energy make it a perfect destination for seekers of solitude and inner peace. If interested meditate inside the cave or enjoy the tranquility and calmness of River Ganges, while your Rafts come to pick you for an adventurous session of White-Water Rafting. Rishikesh has grown to be a popular and adventurous spot for white water rafting enthusiasts as the place offers a spectacular experience of medium to tough rapids in the regions of River Ganges.

Later drive back to the hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner and Overnight in the hotel.

#Day 8:  Rishikesh / Dehradun (Approx. 16 Kms / 30 Minutes) / Jaipur (By Flight)

After an early breakfast transfer to Dehradun airport and board flight to Jaipur, the fascinating capital of the marvellous state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City, thanks to the colour of its buildings. It was built in 1727 A.D by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, followed a grid system, which made it the only planned city of its time. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to hotel. 

Rest of the day is free at leisure

Evening is reserved for a cooking demonstration followed by dinner with a local family. The experience includes an introduction about various spices and how they are combined to prepare the perfect Indian curries. After the cooking demonstration enjoy dinner while you interact with the family and learn about the Indian way of living.

#Day 9: Jaipur

Early morning enjoy Yoga session.

After breakfast enjoy visit of Jaipur including following:

Photo Stop at Hawa Mahal Palace - The poet king Sawai Pratap Singh built this palace of winds. is an iconic photo stop in Jaipur, with its intricate honeycomb façade and 953 small windows. A stunning blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, it offers the perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of the Pink City. The palace's unique design, bathed in soft pink hues, makes it a must-see and a photographer's dream. A moment here is a chance to freeze Jaipur’s beauty in time.

Amber Fort with Jeep ride - The Amber Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh, the fort was made in red sandstone and white marble. Amber is the classic and romantic fort-palace with a magnificent aura. The interior wall of the palace depicts expressive painting scenes with carvings, precious stones, and mirror settings. Built mainly for the warring enemies as a safe place, the heavily structured walls could defend the residents within the ramparts of the fort.

After lunch enjoy an interesting hike (for approx. 04 hrs) through the countryside. The walk takes you on a rural forest track with no urban civilization in the proximity and passing by a medieval step well & the Ancient Delhi Gate. The trek through and bordering the Nahargarh Forest Area winds past small village hutments, a village school and a medieval temple ending at Dera Amer. Fascinating is the local flora and fauna, birdlife, and the possibility of seeing antelopes and other wildlife.

#Day 10: Jaipur / Agra (Approx. 235 Kms / 05 ½ hrs. drive)

After breakfast drive to Agra - The city of the inimitable “TAJ MAHAL”. The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces are vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire. While its significance as a political center ended with the transfer of the capital to Delhi in 1634 by Shah Jahan, its architectural wealth has secured its place on the international map.

On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri - The beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire.

OPTIONAL: In evening, enjoy Mohabbat, the Taj Show - a series of play depicting the saga of love. It depicts the true

and immortal love of Shahjahan for Mumtaz Mahal, his beautiful wife, the lavish lifestyle of Mughal era and the emasculate hardship of the artisans for 22 years that created the most precious specimen of craftsmanship.

#Day 11:  Agra / Delhi (Approx. 247 Kms / 05 hrs. drive)

After leisurely breakfast visit Taj Mahal or Crown of Palaces, a white marble mausoleum, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan as a memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. (It remains closed on Fridays).

Later visit Agra Fort, considered one of the largest fortifications in the world and a UNESCO world heritage site.

After the sightseeing drive to Delhi. On arrival check in at the hotel

#Day 12:   Delhi Departure

In time transfer to the airport to board the flight to onward destination.
