Day 1: Arriving at the land of incredible landscapes

Land and soak in the landscape as you acclimatise to the high altitude (3,500m). A short drive brings us to our hotel. The rugged terrain and the barren beauty of Ladakh are truly awe-inspiring from the air. Relish a hearty meal amidst the beautiful mountains. Post lunch, relax & unwind at the property or read a book . In the evening, explore the property at your own pace as you are still acclimatising. Stay - The Grand Dragon Ladakh

Day 2 : Attend Early Morning Prayer at Thiksey Monastery

 Private Audience with Buddhist Monk and Visit Hemis Monastery - Hike up to Gotsang Early in the morning visit the 15th century Thiksey Monastery where you will take part in a special morning prayer ceremony. As the sun rises, the trumpets, gongs, prayers and chants of the monks ring out. You will be guided through the complex and see the prayer rooms with many handwritten books as well as the shrine of the goddess Tara. Afterwards you will have a private audience with the Geshes (Buddhist Doctorate Monk) to discuss or debate on Buddhism teachings and ethical practices. Followed by breakfast at the Thiksey Monastery. Afterwards, visit the 400-year-old Hemis Monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu school. The rich monastery is world-famous for its big monastery festival. Here, young lamas are taught yoga, tantra, philosophy, history and literature. The monastery halls are decorated with murals and statues. Followed by a hike up to Gotsang. Gotsang is a hillside hermitage with two attractive main temple buildings. The main shrine is the mountain cave in which Tantric master Gyalwang Gotsang (1189–1258) meditated. Also known as Gotsangapa, he was the enlightened Tibetan lama who first charted the pilgrim path around Mt Kailash and to whom Ladakh's Drukpa Buddhists cast back their lineage (the current Gyalwang Drukpa being his 12th incarnation). The age-blackened cave is now hidden within the monastic building to the left as you climb up from Hemis Gompa. The entryway is fronted with colourful murals, with the cave behind. A stone above the door is believed to be imprinted with the base of Gotsangapa's begging bowl. You can hike here from Hemis Gompa (about one hour to hike uphill, 30 minutes back). In evening spend time walking by the Indus River and mother nature soothes you with aura. Later drive back to Leh. Stay - The Grand Dragon Ladakh

Day 3 : Visit and indulge with Coppersmiths of Chilling & Alchi monastery Early breakfast . Post breakfast, we drive to Chilling to meet the coppersmiths, learn the intricate technique of Ladakhi metalwork . Lunch at Alchi kitchen as you interact with Chef Nilza and get acquainted with Ladakhi fusion food . Post lunch, visit the 11th century Alchi temple adorned with Gandhara art; the temple features some of the most beautiful and ancient Buddhist murals. Drive back to the hotel . Evening at leisure. Day 4: Voyaging Nubra Valley - The valley of sand dunes and flowers

Early breakfast & drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung la Pass (5,359m). Arrive for lunch at the hotel . Afternoon at leisure or explore the property and soak in the scenic vistas of the Nubra Valley, breathing in the crisp mountain air . Stay - N/A

Day 5: Explore the region with small hikes

Early breakfast followed by a drive to the base of Tirisa Tso. We begin our short hike to the lake, where we will witness surreal views of the lake reflecting the mountains that guard its shore. We make our descent towards Murgi, the largest petroglyph site of Ladakh, etched by the hands of ancient civilisations . Pause for a picnic lunch surrounded by the awe-inspiring mountains. Feel a sense of peace as you immerse yourself in the spiritual aura. Stay - N/A

Day 6 : Turtuk Village Excursion + Experience Balti Food and Culture

Early morning drive to TurTuk village with drive landscape, Exotic village. Turtuk this village is about 115 kms from Nubra valley and can take about 3 to 4 hours to reach here, the total population of Turtuk is just 4000 and follow islam as about 40 years back this village was under Pakistan and speak Baltistan language, explore this beautiful village and explore the life here, we will go for a walk around the village and also meet the people followed by an experience of an sumptuous and authentic Balti food. Day 7 : Cruising back to Leh via Warila Trails

Post Breakfast Drive South, We Will Take the Most Scenic Route with Best Views of Shayok River and Cross the Special Watershed Pass of Warila, the Road is Most Scenic and Nature Has Not Been Rearranged By Human Hand Here. Arrive At Sakti Village followed by visit of Chemday Monastery. Chemday Monastery is located in the east of Leh at a distance of 40km and it is situated on to the hills. It is said that it was founded 400 years ago and it was offered to the monks to form a monastic community under Shamo Natha. Chemday monastery belongs to the Dukpa Kargyut Pa sect and it is currently headed by the 6th Skyangon Stagsang Rinpoche. An image of Padmaasambhava is to be seen in the Chemday Gompa Leh. It is one storey in height. There are furthermore many shrines. Arrive for lunch at Namza Dining in Leh town. Afternoon at leisure. Spend the evening walking around town and shopping for loved ones back home. Stay - The Grand Dragon Ladakh

Day 8 : Departure Fly back home with memories of our homeland until this land calls upon you again.
