Day 01: Arrive at Cochin
Located in Kerala, Cochin (Kochi) is a historic port city that has been a vital hub in the spice trade since the 14th century. Shaped by Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences, the city showcases a captivating blend of colonial charm and local heritage. With its timeless architecture, vibrant streets, and breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and serene backwaters, Cochin truly lives up to its name - the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.”
On arrival in Cochin, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02: Cochin
Start your day with a walk around the historic Fort Cochin area. You will walk past St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Cemetery and Chinese Fishing nets (Cheenavala).
Later also visit Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace.
In the evening enjoy an enthralling Kathakali Dance Performance - a traditional dance form of Kerala. The impressive facial expressions, hand gestures and dance moves will leave one spellbound.

Day 03 Cochin / Munnar
Embrace the changing landscapes as you drive to Munnar, a beautiful hill station nestled at the confluence of the Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala streams. Surrounded by rolling hills, tea plantations, and mist-covered valleys, Munnar ranges in altitude from 1,450 to 2,695 meters and is home to Anamudi, the highest peak in South India.
On arrival in Munnar, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the area on your own.

Day 04 Munnar
In the morning enjoy a scenic and easy hike through Munnar’s lush tea plantations and grasslands. Walk past rocky trails and panoramic viewpoints, capturing breathtaking views as you ascend. At the summit, enjoy stunning landscapes and misty clouds up close.
Later, visit the Tea Museum, showcasing the history and heritage of tea in Munnar with displays of antique machinery, tools, and colonial-era artifacts.

Day 05 Munnar / Periyar
With the morning light guiding your way, drive to Periyar, nestled in the Western Ghats and known for its rich wildlife and scenic landscapes. On arrival, check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, take part in a traditional Kerala cooking session at a local home. Experience a live demonstration by your host, who will guide you through the unique techniques and spices of regional cuisine. The session concludes with a delicious home-cooked lunch, shared with the family.
In the evening, enjoy a mesmerizing Kalaripayattu performance — an ancient form of martial arts native to Kerala that is often considered one of the oldest fighting systems in existence.

Day 06 Periyar
Today enjoy a stunning jeep ride through the Periyar highlands, offering scenic views of the Western Ghats and Tamil Nadu plains. Later visit a spice plantation and interact with a local farmer to learn about spice cultivation, trade, and processing over a cup of tea.
In the afternoon enjoy boat ride in Periyar National Park. You may spot elephants, sambar deer, or wild boar along the water’s edge, all while enjoying the park’s rich biodiversity and landscape.
Evening is free to at leisure or to enjoy an Ayurvedic massage.

Day 07 Periyar / Backwaters
Start the most exciting day of your journey with a scenic drive to backwaters and board a traditional houseboat (also known as a Rice Boat or Kettuvallam) for an unforgettable cruise through the iconic Kerala Backwaters.
Glide through a network of tranquil canals, past swaying palms, lush paddy fields, and charming villages, where life moves to the gentle rhythm of the water, offering a truly immersive glimpse into Kerala’s serene soul.
Lunch and dinner served on the boat.
Overnight on the houseboat.
Day 08 Backwaters / Cochin
Disembark from the houseboat and journey back to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin, transfer to the hotel.
Spend the rest of the day soaking in the city’s relaxed coastal vibe, exploring its colonial charm, or indulging in some last-day shopping.

Day 09 Cochin Departure
In time transfer to the airport and connect flight back home.
IMP: Room will be available till 1200 Hrs.
The program can be extended to include days on the beach.
