Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul – Where Cultures Meet

Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Istanbul is a vibrant city where East meets West, blending centuries of history, art, and culture. In the evening, enjoy free time at leisure to explore the surroundings, or opt for a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise, where you will sail between two continents while enjoying traditional Turkish cuisine, live music, and cultural performances including folk dances and belly dancing.

Day 2: Istanbul – Byzantine & Ottoman Art

After breakfast, begin your full-day historical and artistic tour of Istanbul. Start with a visit to Hagia Sophia, an architectural marvel that has served as both a church and a mosque, showcasing stunning mosaics and a rich cultural legacy. Continue to the Blue Mosque, famous for its impressive blue İznik tiles and elegant domes. Proceed to Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman sultans, where you will explore imperial collections, courtyards, and treasury rooms. End the day with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world, offering a rich experience of Turkish craftsmanship including carpets, ceramics, jewelry, and textiles.

Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Istanbul – Contemporary Art & Local Culture

After breakfast, discover the modern artistic side of Istanbul. Visit Istanbul Modern, a leading museum showcasing contemporary Turkish art, photography, and design. Continue to Balat, a charming and colorful district known for its historic houses, street art, boutique galleries, and cozy cafés—perfect for photography and cultural exploration. In the afternoon, you may join an optional hands-on art workshop, such as traditional Turkish ceramics or Ebru (marbling art), allowing you to engage directly with local artistic traditions.

Return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Trabzon – Nature & Heritage

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Trabzon, located along the scenic Black Sea coast. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Begin your exploration with a visit to the breathtaking Sumela Monastery, an ancient monastery dramatically perched on a steep cliff within a lush national park. Admire its unique architecture and historic frescoes while enjoying panoramic mountain views. Continue with scenic drives through the region, discovering the natural beauty and cultural richness of northeastern Turkey.

Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Trabzon – Culture & Natural Beauty

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Uzungöl, a stunning lake surrounded by green mountains and forests. This peaceful destination is perfect for relaxation, photography, and nature walks. Along the way, visit traditional villages where you can experience local Black Sea culture and discover regional handicrafts. You may also enjoy local cuisine at a lakeside restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the area, shop for local products, or simply relax in the serene natural setting.

Return to Trabzon for overnight.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Trabzon Airport for your departure flight, carrying unforgettable memories of Turkey’s artistic heritage, cultural richness, and natural beauty.
