Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tromsø
Travellers will arrive in Tromsø where they are met by a local guide for the transfer to their hotel. There, they will be assisted with the check in to the hotel’s accessible rooms and briefed on the programme for the coming days. In the evening, they will enjoy an exciting Northern Lights tour, where a guide will share fascinating insights about the local area and the aurora. Warm clothing and a meal provided. The return to the hotel will be around midnight. Enjoy your first night in the Norwegian Arctic!
Day 2: Whale Watching
After breakfast, travellers will head to the pier for an electric boat whale-watching tour through the fjords. While sightings cannot be guaranteed, the crew will do their best to find these magnificent creatures. Soup lunch included: A vegetarian / vegan option is also available. If assistance with reduced mobility and impaired vision/hearing is required, this will be arranged. Afterward, they will return to Tromsø for the evening.
Day 3: Reindeer & Aurora Borealis
On this tour the travellers go meet the Sámi people and learn about their life, while also enjoying the company of the reindeer and a 25-minute sled ride. Lunch included: Traditional Sami meal cooked over the fire and warm drinks. A vegetarian / vegan option is also available. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own disposal.
Day 4: Tromsø & Aurora Borealis
After breakfast, travellers will do a tour of the Tromsø island. On this tour we offer a trip of the Island of Tromsø which includes a visit to the Arctic Cathedral, a ride up the Cable Car, and a panoramic view of the city. The rest of the day, until the evening, is free for further exploration or relaxation. In the evening, they will have another opportunity to witness the Northern Lights, with warm clothing and a meal provided. The return to Tromsø will be around midnight.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, travellers will be picked up to go to Tromsø Airport with ample time for their departure. They will receive help with the check in and be taken care of to make sure everything goes well until they go past security.
