DAY 1 Welcome to Botswana! Arriving in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, you make your way to your overnight accommodation.
DAY 2 - 10 Your volunteering experience starts today with a road transfer to the Kalahari where the Modisa Wildlife Project is located. You will take part in activities such as educational sessions, predator tracking, wildlife monitoring and fieldwork with the research team gaining first-hand insight into how conservation is carried out in one of Africa's most remote environments.
DAY 11 Today you depart from the volunteering project and travel by road back to Gaborone to stay overnight before taking your onward flight to Maun the next morning.
DAY 12 Your flight takes you to Maun where you take to the skies aboard your charter flight and enjoy the endless views of the Delta. Travellers can expect to encounter a variety of ecosystems, from lush wetlands to arid savannas, making it a remarkable adventure for nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers alike.
DAY 15 Arrive by charter flight into Kasane and transfer to your lodge along the Chobe River. Take advantage of the time to engage in various activities, whether it be relaxing at your accommodation or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
DAY 17 After a hearty breakfast, you continue your journey to Zimbabwe! You will be picked up by a transfer service and drive towards the famous Victoria Falls. The next few days are for exploring the spectacular waterfalls and the town of Victoria Falls.
DAY 19 Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
