Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Collect your rental car and drive to your hotel in Reykjavík. The city has an amazing variety of restaurants. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 2: Golden Circle & South Coast
Explore Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot spring. Visit Skógafoss waterfall and Reynisfjara beach.This farming region’s cuisine features excellent geothermal vegetables, dairy, and meat products. Overnight in Vík.
Day 3: Vatnajökull National Park
Today you’ll visit Vatnajökull National Park. Discover majestic Skaftafell, a scenic area ringed by glaciers. Continue to the icebergs of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Overnight in the Vík area. This region is famous for excellent Arctic char trout.
Day 4: Borgarfjörður
Explore Þingvellir National Park, a jewel of nature. Continue to charming Borgarfjörður fjord, a region known for local culinary and handicraft traditions. Overnight in the Borgarfjörður area.
Day 5: Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Explore the countless natural wonders of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. A visit is a feast for your eyes and your camera! Charming communities offer delicious cuisine featuring freshly caught seafood. Overnight in the Borgarfjörður area.
Day 6: Reykjanes Peninsula
Drive to the Reykjanes peninsula and visit the moonlike lava fields around Lake Kleifarvatn and the Krýsuvík geothermal area. Perhaps you will visit the famous Blue Lagoon. Reykjanes is known for excellent seafood options. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 7: Departure
Drive back to Keflavík International Airport.
