Together with our DMC partner in China, China Comfort Lufthansa City Center, we invited Finnish travel content creator Jonathan Zimmer on an unforgettable journey through Beijing. Over 8 days, our local experts curated an immersive itinerary that blended imperial grandeur, modern vibrancy, and authentic local encounters. From walking through the historic Forbidden City and hiking the Great Wall at Jinshanling, to sharing hotpot with locals and drifting through the water lanes of Gubei, every moment revealed a new side of China’s dynamic capital.

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

  • Arrival at Beijing Airport

  • Meet & greet at the airport

  • Transfer to hotel and check-in

  • Welcome dinner at a Beijing Roasted Duck restaurant

Day 2: Explore Imperial Beijing

  • Visit Tiananmen Square

Day 3: Temples & Cultural Quarter

Day 4: Great Wall & Gubei Water Town

  • Drive to Jinshanling Great Wall (northeast of Beijing)

Day 5: Gubei to Traditional Beijing
