DAY 1 - 4
Welcome to Namibia! After your arrival in Windhoek, you will be welcomed by our local staff. We will answer questions, exchange money together and help you pick up your rental car. Continue to your accommodation in the capital, Windhoek. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the local amenities or opt for a city tour to explore the beautiful viewpoints. Experience the vibrant Windhoek Karneval (WIKA) during your stay, select (tickets not included) from events like the opening Prinzenball, colourful street processions, international evenings and the popular WIKA beer festival. Experience Namibian culture through music, dance, costumes, parades and community spirit.
DAY 5 - 6
Starting from the vibrant capital of Windhoek, you embark on a scenic drive that takes you through the heart of the country into the mysterious Kalahari Desert. Along the way, a breathtaking panorama unfolds before you: gentle hills, wide open plains, and finally the iconic red sand dunes of the Kalahari. In the stillness of the desert, broken only by the soft whisper of the wind, you'll experience a profound sense of peace and authenticity. This journey is more than just a change of location; it's an invitation to discover Namibia's untouched nature and quiet wilderness with all your senses.
DAY 7 - 8
Enjoy a hearty breakfast early in the morning before continuing onto Sossusvlei. After your arrival, enjoy the spectacular landscape that surrounds your desert lodge. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit the highest dune, Big Daddy and Deadvlei, the famous viewpoints in this region.
DAY 9 - 10
Continue onto your first destination on the coast, the charming town of Swakopmund. Enjoy sightseeing and stop off at one of the town's coffee houses for coffee and a traditional homemade slice of cake. Typical Namibian hospitality, contrasted with the cool Atlantic breeze during a stroll along the beach, ensures an unforgettable stay.
DAY 11 - 12
Today you travel to the southern Kunene region of Namibia, also known as Damaraland. Once inhabited by hunters and later by Khoikhoi pastoralists, you will embark on a historical and cultural journey during your stay and see impressive artifacts.
DAY 13 - 14
You will spend the next few days enjoying spectacular game viewing in Etosha National Park. During an optional day game drive, explore the amazing wildlife from an open safari vehicle. During your safari, learn many fascinating details about Etosha as a habitat. Alongside lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas, Etosha is home to one of the most stable black rhino populations in the world. The famous Etosha Pan - a flat salt pan covering an area of 5,000 square kilometers - lies in the heart of the park.
DAY 15
Your last stop is Windhoek. Should time allow, explore some of the highlights of the former colonial city and delve into the city's modern history with sights such as the Tintenpalast, the Christuskirche, Kaiserliche School and the old castles of Heinitzburg and Sanderburg.
DAY 16
Drive to Hosea Kutako International Airport and return your rental car.
