Discover Kenya in this 7-day Kenya Canvas tour through contemporary art, Maasai heritage, and the timeless Swahili creativity of Lamu, where each destination reveals a different layer of the country’s living cultural expression.

Day 1: Nairobi – Contemporary Art & Performance
Arrive at the beautiful Serena Hotel and begin your journey at Kuona Artists Collective with private studio visits and an interactive session alongside resident artists. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a live performance at Safari Park Hotel, where the iconic Safari Cats show brings together music, dance, and theatrical storytelling.

Day 2: Nairobi – Sustainable & Experiential Art
After breakfast, explore sustainability in motion at Ocean Sole, where recycled flip-flops are transformed into vibrant works of art, followed by a visit to the Matbronze Art Gallery & Foundry. Watch the live craftmanship using the traditional lost – wax casting technique to make the bronze sculptures. Have a light lunch at the Matbronze café then visit the Kitengela Glass factory to experience bold glass-blowing techniques and immersive artistic installations. End the day with dinner at Talisman Restaurant, known for its artistic ambiance and fusion cuisine.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Into the Wild
Travel to the Maasai Mara and settle into Soroi Mara Bush Camp, a boutique tented camp set along the river. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, with optional creative sessions in photography or sketching inspired by the surrounding wilderness.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Stories of the Land
After a sunrise safari (optional hot air balloon experience), visit a traditional Maasai village for an immersive exchange with artisans, learning about beadwork, symbolism, and their way of life. The day unfolds with a bush lunch in the wild and concludes with evening storytelling led by community elders.

Day 5: Lamu – Coastal Transition
Fly to Lamu via Nairobi and check into The Majlis Resort, a beachfront property blending Swahili design with contemporary comfort. End the day with a sunset dhow cruise along the Lamu archipelago.

Day 6: Lamu – Swahili Art & Culture
Explore Lamu Old Town, a UNESCO-listed settlement known for its carved wooden doors and coral-stone architecture, with visits to local artisan workshops specializing in woodwork and textiles. The day includes a Swahili cooking experience and ends with traditional taarab music.

Day 7: Lamu – Leisure & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning at The Majlis Resort with optional wellness or beach time before your departure, bringing your journey through Kenya’s living artistic landscape to an end. Afterwards, fly back to Nairobi for your connection home.
