DAY 1
Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide! You will have time to freshen up before setting off on a city tour to experience the most beautiful highlights of the former colonial city. Popular sights include the Tintenpalast, the Christuskirche, the Alte Feste, the Kaiserliche Realschule and the Heinitzburg and Sanderburg castles. You will then be driven to your accommodation and have time at your disposal. In the evening, you will meet your tour guide for dinner.
DAY 2
Today you travel to Okonjima Game Reserve, a private wildlife reserve located near the town of Otjiwarongo. It is best known as the home of the AfriCat Foundation, a conservation organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and research of Namibia's carnivores—particularly cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Omboroko Mountains, Okonjima offers visitors a unique opportunity to observe these animals as well as a variety of other wildlife, including antelope, giraffe, and birds.
DAY 4 - 5
You will spend the next few days enjoying spectacular game viewing in Etosha National Park. During a day game drive, explore the amazing wildlife from an open safari vehicle. During your safari, learn many fascinating details about Etosha as a habitat. Alongside lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas, Etosha is home to one of the most stable black rhino populations in the world. The famous Etosha Pan - a flat salt pan covering an area of 5,000 square kilometers - lies in the heart of the park.
DAY 6 - 7
Have your camera and binoculars ready as you explore Etosha! You will reach your next bush domicile in the wilderness in the early afternoon. After a short break for refreshments, you have the option (at an additional cost) to go on a 4x4 safari with game rangers in the afternoon to get to know the southern part of Etosha National Park. At sunset, you will not only experience the fascinating beauty of the bush, but also the awakening of the nocturnal wild animals that live here. You will return to your lodge in time for dinner.
DAY 8 - 9
Continue onto the small town of Uis, situated in Damaraland. Located nearby is the Brandberg, the tallest mountain in Namibia where full day excursions can be undertaken. Or try to track down the location of the elusive desert-adapted elephant, often found along the dried-up riverbeds of the area.
DAY 10 - 11
Continue on to your first destination on the coast, the charming port town of Swakopmund. Enjoy sightseeing and stop off at one of the town's coffee houses for coffee and a traditional homemade slice of cake. Typical Namibian hospitality, contrasted with the cool Atlantic breeze during a stroll along the beach, ensures an unforgettable stay.
DAY 12 - 13
Continue onto Okahandja, known as the 'Garden Town of Namibia'. It is located 70km north of Windhoek and founded in 1800 by the Herero and Nama local groups. In Herero, the name means 'the place where two rivers converge' with the rivers being the Okavango and Okamita. Be sure to visit the local woodcarver's market.
DAY 14
Today your memorable tour of Namibia comes to an end, and it is time to check-in for your flight back home.
