Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam – Saigon River Cruise
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to your hotel in the heart of District 1. In the evening, meet your guide and fellow travellers before setting off on a relaxing cruise along the Saigon River. Admire the city’s glittering skyline as day turns into night and enjoy your first taste of Vietnam’s vibrant atmosphere. Afterwards, return to the hotel on foot.
Day 2: Mekong Delta – Off the Beaten Path
Discover the authentic side of the Mekong Delta as you meet local villagers, visit a traditional factory and cruise through scenic waterways on a private boat. Cycle across a peaceful island, explore rural communities and sample Sam jelly, a traditional herbal drink known for its refreshing and health boosting properties. Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City Exploration & Flight to Hue

Ride through the Imperial City by traditional rickshaw, visit the historic Kim Long village and savour local culinary specialties. In the afternoon, travel along the breathtaking Hai Van Pass, one of the world’s most scenic coastal roads, before arriving in the charming town of Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An’s Timeless Charm & Beachside Dining
Wander through Hoi An’s UNESCO listed Ancient Town, where colourful lanterns, historic architecture and yellow walled streets create a unique atmosphere. Stop for a local coconut coffee before heading by electric buggy to a peaceful seaside village. Enjoy a leisurely beachfront lunch and spend the afternoon soaking up the relaxed coastal lifestyle.
Day 6: Da Nang & Flight to Hanoi
Transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, enjoy a late lunch showcasing North Vietnam’s diverse ethnic cuisines. Explore the city’s historic heart by electric buggy, travelling from Hoan Kiem Lake into the vibrant Old Quarter. A scenic walk along Phan Dinh Phung Avenue reveals colonial architecture, ancient gates and tranquil lakes.
Day 7: Urban Roaming in Hanoi

Day 8: Halong & Lan Ha Bays – A Different Perspective
Travel through the Red River Delta to the spectacular limestone landscapes of Halong and Lan Ha Bays. Board your overnight cruise and enjoy lunch as you sail through emerald waters surrounded by dramatic karst formations. Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing on deck or simply admiring the scenery before enjoying sunset views, an aperitif and an onboard cooking demonstration.
Day 9: Sunrise on the Bay & Return to Hanoi
Begin the day with a peaceful Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises over the bay. Explore a hidden cave before returning to the ship for brunch.
