The itinerary

DAY 1 - Welcome to India: Exploring Delhi Upon your arrival in India, you will be warmly greeted by our representative at the airport, who will facilitate your transfer to Leela Palace or The Oberois, Delhi. Embark on a full-day exploration of Delhi's rich tapestry of history and culture. Start with the historic Red Fort, a marvel of Mughal architecture, followed by a visit to the serene Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques. Stroll through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, sampling local delicacies. Post-lunch, discover the British-era grandeur at India Gate and the Presidential Palace. Conclude the day at the peaceful Lodhi Gardens, a perfect blend of nature and heritage. This tour encapsulates the vibrant spirit and diversity of Delhi, offering a glimpse into its past and present. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay. Optional: In the evening, we’ll head for hi-tea at Delhi's first UNESCO heritage & cultural restoration site! A distinctive blend of historic grandeur and contemporary comfort, Haveli Dharampura gives you the opportunity to get a feel of the Mughal era through the architectural beauty of the Haveli teamed up with the amenities of the present era. Oh, and the views from their rooftop are gorgeous! You can also relish activities such as kite flying - a staple during Indian holidays!
DAY 2 - Delhi to Alwar Amanbagh (by road 5 hrs): On reaching Alwar, you'll be welcomed at Amanbagh, a luxurious retreat surrounded by beautiful greenery. This place is designed like the grand palaces of Rajasthan, with stunning and elegant details. Relax and enjoy your time in this peaceful place. Walk around the lovely gardens that are well taken care of. If you want, you can go on a special trip to Somsagar Lake for a beautiful picnic. This is a quiet spot where you can have a nice meal outside, surrounded by the calmness of nature. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 - Discovering Alwar's History at Amanbagh: On this day, explore Alwar's history with a visit to the old Narayani Mata Temple. This temple is very special and has many stories from as far back as 1058 A.D. In the evening, you can join in a special prayer ceremony, called 'aarti', led by a local Meena tribal priest. This ceremony is a great way to see and understand the local traditions and religious practices. Later, as the evening turns to night, you have a wonderful option for dinner.Close to Amanbagh, there's a place called Chhatri where you can have dinner under the stars. This dinner is quite magical – imagine sitting outside with hundreds of small lights, called 'diyas', twinkling under the night sky. A musician will play music just for you, adding to the charm of the evening. This dinner is not just about the food; it's about experiencing the beauty and romance of Alwar in a luxurious setting.
DAY 4 - Alwar to Rabthambore (by road 4 hrs): After breakfast, we'll drive towards Ranthambore. Welcome to the wild! This famous national park is the best place to spot wild tigers in Rajasthan. It comprises 1334 sq km of wild jungle scrub hemmed in by rocky ridges, and at its centre is the 10th-century Ranthambhore Fort. Scattered around the fort are ancient temples and mosques, hunting pavilions, crocodile-filled lakes and vinecovered chhatris (cenotaphs). On arrival, check in at the hotel & unwind. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 - Explore Ranthambore: After breakfast, we'll drive towards Ranthambore. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The Park sprawls over an estimated area of 400 sq Kms. We suggest 2 game viewing drives to maximise your chances of spotting a tiger! (Morning & afternoon) Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6 - Ranthambore to Jaipur (by road 4 hrs): After breakfast, your private chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel and we'll head to the airport for our flight to Jaipur. Jaipur; the capital of Rajasthan, home to Maharani Gayatri Devi & possibly, the most flamboyant state in India! The city truly is pink, the color of hospitality. Jaipur will redefine comfort for you. Think beautiful Havelis, opulent palaces, folk music, turbans, moustaches & mouth-watering food. On arrival in Jaipur, there'll be an express check-in at the hotel. You can relax & unwind tonight. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7 - Exploring Jaipur: In Jaipur, your day will be filled with the splendor of royal heritage and architectural marvels. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, a stunning fortress located atop a hill. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to experience an elephant ride, a truly royal way to ascend to the fort. The ride offers a picturesque view of the surrounding landscapes and a glimpse into the grandeur of Rajputana architecture and history. After the exhilarating elephant ride, your next stop is the City Palace. This palace is a beautiful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, showcasing a rich collection of artifacts, costumes, and armory from the bygone era. The intricate designs and detailed craftsmanship within the palace will leave you in awe of the royal legacy of Jaipur. Optional: Book some one to one time with elephants! We recommend Eleday, specially for the kids! They can feed, paint and even bathe the elephants. Laughter and fun ias always guaranteed here!
