Day 1: Bucharest (approx. 30km)

Welcome to Romania! On the way to your hotel, enjoy a panoramic tour of Bucharest, passing the House of the Free Press, Romanian Arch of Triumph, Victory Square, Roman Square, Palace of the Parliament and University Square. Enjoy leisure time exploring the Old Town, followed by a welcome dinner at a historic restaurant. (D)

Day 2: Bucharest – Transfăgărășan – Sibiu (approx. 350km)

Discover Bucharest with a visit to the impressive Palace of the Parliament, the second-largest administrative building in the world, and the Romanian Athenaeum, renowned for its architecture and frescoes. Leave the capital and drive along the spectacular Transfăgărășan Highway, one of the world’s most scenic mountain roads, with breathtaking views, dramatic curves, Bâlea Lake and Bâlea Waterfall. Continue to Sibiu for a two-night stay. (B)

Day 3: Sibiu – Cisnădioara – Sibiel – Sibiu (approx. 60km)

Explore Sibiu’s charming Old Town, admiring the Lutheran Cathedral, Huet Square and the renowned Brukenthal Museum. Enjoy leisure time before heading into the Carpathian foothills for scenic landscapes and a visit to the 13th-century fortified church of Cisnădioara. In the afternoon, discover the traditional mountain village of Sibiel, with an optional dinner featuring local wine and plum brandy. Return to Sibiu. (B)

Day 4: Sibiu – Mediaș – Biertan – Sighișoara (approx. 115km)

Drive through the picturesque Transylvanian countryside to Mediaș, a former German settlement. Visit St. Margaret’s Church and its distinctive inclined tower. Continue to Biertan, home to one of Transylvania’s largest fortified churches, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to medieval Sighișoara and check in for the night. (B)

Day 5: Sighișoara – Viscri – Brașov (approx. 135km)

Discover Sighișoara, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval towns and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Clock Tower, Dracula’s birthplace and the Church on the Hill, followed by free time. Continue to Viscri, a charming Saxon village where traditional rural life has been beautifully preserved. Visit its 13th-century fortified church, also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Brașov for a two-night stay. (B)

Day 6: Brașov – Prejmer – Bran – Brașov (approx. 105km)

Explore Brașov’s medieval Old Town, including the Black Church, Black and White Towers, Ecaterina’s Gate and Rope Street. Continue to Prejmer to visit its remarkable fortified church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, drive to Bran and visit the famous Bran Castle, known as “Dracula’s Castle,” before returning to Brașov. (B)

Day 7: Brașov – Sinaia – Bucharest (approx. 205km)

Travel to Sinaia and visit magnificent Peleș Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family, with its beautifully preserved interiors and gardens. Continue to Sinaia Monastery, founded by Prince Cantacuzino, and discover its Byzantine architecture and historic treasures. Proceed to Bucharest for your final overnight stay. Farewell dinner. Day 8: Bucharest – Homeland (approx. 30km)

Transfer to Bucharest International Airport for your flight home. Safe travels! (B)
