Day 1: Arrival + Half Day City Tour with Dinner
Landing at Doha International Airport. Clearing immigration and customs. Collecting the baggage. Meeting with the driver in the arrival hall and transfer to Hotel.
You will be picked up from the hotel in Doha and drive you through Corniche, where you will be fascinated by the new, vibrant look of Doha with its modern towers and traditional Dhow boats decorated with colorful lights by night. Your first stop will be the old Dhow Harbour, which is also called the Al Bandar area where you will see the beautiful West Bay skyline with its gleaming buildings at night. You will then proceed to the Museum of Islamic Art to see manuscripts, textiles, ceramics, and other pieces. The museum, has emerged as one of the world’s most encyclopedic collections of Islamic art.
Thereafter, you will visit Souq Waqif, a historic marketplace with a wide variety of shops selling trinkets, spices, clothes, perfumes, and traditional handicrafts. A Falcon Souq and an Arabian horse and camel stable are situated next to Souq Waqif.
The next stop will be Katara Cultural Village, a cultural hotspot in the centre of the city including an amphitheater, planetarium, art galleries, and restaurants. The Pearl Qatar will be your next destination here you can find magnificent marinas with luxury boats anchored, world-renowned restaurants, high-end branded boutiques, Luxury auto showrooms, Coffee shops, and Residential apartments.
Your final stop will include either lunch or dinner at a Local Restaurant.
