El Chaltén: A slow walking journey through Patagonia’s iconic landscapes

Day 1:

Arrival at El Calafate Airport and transfer to El Chaltén.

Check in and overnight stay.

Day 2:

Breakfast and full-day trek to Laguna de los Tres, one of Patagonia’s most iconic hikes. Walk through native forests and mountain scenery to reach spectacular views of Mount Fitz Roy, its glaciers, and alpine lagoons.

Overnight in El Chaltén.

Day 3:

Breakfast and excursion to Vespignani Glacier. Travel to Lago del Desierto, enjoy a scenic boat ride, and spend time exploring marked walking trails with panoramic glacier views.

Day 4:

Breakfast and full-day hike to Pliegue Tumbado, crossing forests and open landscapes to one of the region’s finest viewpoints overlooking the Fitz Roy and Torre massifs, Lake Viedma, and surrounding glaciers.

Overnight in El Chaltén.

Day 5:

Transfer from El Chaltén to El Calafate Airport for departure.
