Day 1:
Hemingways Nairobi This boutique hotel elevates the standard of luxury for travellers in the region. Beautiful in its symmetry and flooded with natural light, this plantation-style property is airy and spacious.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Conservancies Safari on horseback is a unique experience, well-trained horses make you feel secure and connected to the landscape. Each day, you encounter a variety of wildlife: impala trotting alongside your horse, wildebeest running away, giraffe moving in any direction, and zebra calmly cantering into the distance. The vistas are vast, the African sky is incredibly huge, and the horizon is distant and shimmering in the midday heat. It's a sense of complete freedom and a return to living in harmony with the environment.
Day 8: Depart
SAFARI NOTES: Rates are based on a group of six guests and are stated on a per-person sharing basis; rates for smaller groups are available on request All rides are privately guided by a professional riding guide and conducted in the English style using French cavalry and English general-purpose saddles Each day includes between 4 - 7 hours of horse riding, covering 20 - 30 kilometres per day. Full days of riding when moving camps are alternated with shorter riding days, riding out of camp in the morning and returning for lunch An intermediate level of fitness and riding ability is required, with riders being confident at all paces and weighing under 90kgs. Beginner riders are not accepted. Masai Mara campsites are subject to availability; conservancies included in the itinerary are subject to change There is a baggage restriction of 15 kgs on all internal flights, in soft bags
