Days 1–2: Durban
Begin on Durban's Indian Ocean coastline with a relaxing stay at Sala Beach House before boarding the legendary Rovos Rail.
Days 3–4: Rovos Rail: Durban – Pretoria
Travel through the lush Valley of a Thousand Hills into the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, visiting the renowned Ardmore Ceramics Gallery. Board Rovos Rail once more, crossing the Highveld to Kimberley for a visit to the famous Big Hole before traversing the vast Karoo. Pause in the historic village of Matjiesfontein before descending through spectacular mountain scenery into Cape Town.
Days 10–11: Cape Town
Conclude your journey with two nights at Steenberg Hotel in the Constantia Winelands.
