We invite you to discover Mahe the main Island of the archipelago in a day! Our knowledgeable team are sure to showcase the highlights of the island.
We’ll start off with a short tour of Victoria, the world’s smallest capital followed by a visit to the Botanical Garden. This beautiful haven is just 5 minutes out of Victoria, accommodating the rarest endemic flora of the island and home to some spirited land tortoises.
The tour will then move on to Venn’s Town where only the ruins of what used to be a school for freed slave’s children remain. A protected area with a rich history complimented by a breath-taking view of the west coast. We continue further down passing the tea tavern on our way to lunch; then off to La Plaine St. Andre home of Trois Frères Distillery, the producers of local rum brand Takamaka. Time to try out the real taste of the island!
Another interesting structure situated on the property is a 200-year-old French colonial planter’s house, one of the last remaining traditional houses in Seychelles listed a National Monument in 1982. A quick peek to the traditional craft village gives you a chance to appreciate and purchase authentic creole artistic work before returning to the hotel.

- Journey to the island of La Digue, the epitome of the traditional slow-paced creole-living way of life, first inhabited in 1798. Rummaging through the narrow roads that wind their way around the island. The plateau area has a combination of residential dwellings and guesthouses with few hotels. The ‘Veuve Reserve’ is a sanctuary named after the endemic birds which inhabit the area. Working up an appetite for a sumptuous creole buffet.
An informative visit to the timeless L’Union Estate, where the old agricultural processing method is preserved. The traditional copra mill was built to extract virgin coconut oil following the laborious dehusking of the coconut and extraction of the flesh from the shell. A quick stop by the Art gallery in the basement of the iconic Grann Kaz, a historical 19th century French Colonial Plantation House where the famous movie from 1977 ‘Goodbye Emmanuel’ was filmed. Meet the giant tortoise before passing through the vanilla plantation on your way to Anse Source D’Argent.
If you haven’t done so yet, it’s time to pull out your camera for some incredible pictures of Anse Source D’Argent reputed for its picturesque boulders molding into the crystal-clear waters gently lapping at powder-like sandy beach.
