The most representative flavors of Peruvian cuisine will be waiting for you. You will embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure, starting your journey in a typical Peruvian market. There you will discover a wide variety of national ingredients, among which you will find traditional Peruvian fruits such as chirimoya, lucuma and aguaymanto. If you are a seafood lover, there is no doubt that you will be surprised with the several species of fish and shellfish that are available at the market. Then, you will visit an exclusive Lima restaurant, where you will learn how to prepare pisco sour and ceviche, two worthy representatives of the Peruvian flavor. You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a huaca or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection.

DAY 4 – 2024: Arequipa |
AM. Half Day City Tour and St. Catalina Convent (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide) |
You will begin your tour with a visit to the districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, there you will find a viewpoint from where you will have a panoramic view of the Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes, as well as the city of Arequipa. Then we will go to the Historic Center stopping at the Plaza de Armas, a place that is surrounded by the most representative buildings of the city, you will visit the Cloisters of La Compañía de Jesús with its impressive construction and the polychrome Chapel of San Ignacio, place where find the representative stores of Arequipa to produce garments in Vicuña and alpaca fiber. DAY 5 – 2024: Arequipa - Colca |
2 days/1 night Colca to Puno - (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide) |
Day 1. Colca Canyon Early departure to start the visit to the Valley. This trip takes approximately 5 hours with stops along the way included. On the route you can see the area of Pampa Cañahuas, where you can photograph the South American camelids, Llamas, Alpacas and Vicuñas in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve. You will go through a small snack restaurant to have an infusion of coca and appreciate the rock formations, then continue with the trip until you reach Chivay approx. 1:00 p.m. (capital of the province of Caylloma) where you will have time for lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the thermal waters of La Calera (optional) or stay at the hotel and have the afternoon free. |

DAY 6 - 2024: Colca - Puno |
2 days/1 night Colca to Puno - (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide) DAY 2: COLCA / PUNO Early after breakfast, you will go to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, where if the weather permits you will observe the flight of the largest bird on the planet. We will have a short walk along the edge of the canyon for about 40 minutes to have better panoramic views and look for condors on our way. After the visit to the Cruz del Condor, you will make some stops at another viewpoint to appreciate the terraces of crops, continuing with the neighboring town of Maca to appreciate its church and local crafts, we will continue the trip to Puno, on the way we will It makes a stop in Patapampa where you can appreciate the Chila and Ampato volcano ranges around it, passing through the highest point on the entire trip (4,910 meters above sea level). DAY 7 – 2024: Puno |
