DAY 2 – 2024: Lima

AM. Introduction to peruvian gastronomy (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

The most representative flavors of Peruvian cuisine will be waiting for you. You will embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure, starting your journey in a typical Peruvian market. There you will discover a wide variety of national ingredients, among which you will find traditional Peruvian fruits such as chirimoya, lucuma and aguaymanto. If you are a seafood lover, there is no doubt that you will be surprised with the several species of fish and shellfish that are available at the market. Then, you will visit an exclusive Lima restaurant, where you will learn how to prepare pisco sour and ceviche, two worthy representatives of the Peruvian flavor. Finally, you can enjoy a delicious lunch with the most important Peruvian dishes.

You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a huaca or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection.

DAY 3 – 2024: Lima - Arequipa

DAY 4 – 2024: Arequipa

AM. Half Day City Tour and St. Catalina Convent (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

You will begin your tour with a visit to the districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, there you will find a viewpoint from where you will have a panoramic view of the Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes, as well as the city of Arequipa.

Then we will go to the Historic Center stopping at the Plaza de Armas, a place that is surrounded by the most representative buildings of the city, you will visit the Cloisters of La Compañía de Jesús with its impressive construction and the polychrome Chapel of San Ignacio, place where find the representative stores of Arequipa to produce garments in Vicuña and alpaca fiber.

Finally, you will go to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, founded in 1580, where you will be able to appreciate its cloisters, picturesque streets, and squares.

DAY 5 – 2024: Arequipa - Colca

2 days/1 night Colca to Puno - (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

Day 1. Colca Canyon

Early departure to start the visit to the Valley. This trip takes approximately 5 hours with stops along the way included. On the route you can see the area of Pampa Cañahuas, where you can photograph the South American camelids, Llamas, Alpacas and Vicuñas in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve. You will go through a small snack restaurant to have an infusion of coca and appreciate the rock formations, then continue with the trip until you reach Chivay approx. 1:00 p.m. (capital of the province of Caylloma) where you will have time for lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the thermal waters of La Calera (optional) or stay at the hotel and have the afternoon free.

DAY 6 - 2024: Colca - Puno

2 days/1 night Colca to Puno - (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

DAY 2: COLCA / PUNO

Early after breakfast, you will go to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, where if the weather permits you will observe the flight of the largest bird on the planet. We will have a short walk along the edge of the canyon for about 40 minutes to have better panoramic views and look for condors on our way. After the visit to the Cruz del Condor, you will make some stops at another viewpoint to appreciate the terraces of crops, continuing with the neighboring town of Maca to appreciate its church and local crafts, we will continue the trip to Puno, on the way we will It makes a stop in Patapampa where you can appreciate the Chila and Ampato volcano ranges around it, passing through the highest point on the entire trip (4,910 meters above sea level). On the way to Puno we will have a stop in Lagunillas, to appreciate the flamingos, at the same time we can have our lunch box and then continue to our hotel, approximate arrival time, 7:00 p.m.

DAY 7 – 2024: Puno

Full Day Uros and Llachon. (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

We contact our visitors in the lobby of the hotel and we go to the port of Puno, where we take a sample boat, arriving at the floating islands of the Uros are 30 minutes from Puno in standard or fast boat, is where the ethnic group that came to Puno 3700 years ago according to National Geographic and survived thanks to their ability to live among the reeds until today with the custom of collectors and fishermen, live on 100 islands and are approximately two thousand people.

During the tour you will visit two islands, the first is the most traditional, where the natives will show you how they were built, how they live their daily life and you can visit their houses, they will offer you to take pictures dressed in their typical costumes, and show you their craftsmanship characterized by embroidery and basketry based on totora reeds, The inhabitants of the Uros, will offer a ride on reed rafts that will be a means of transportation to the second island, for those who wish, then we left towards the Quechua side of the bay of Puno to the Capachica Peninsula, Llachón community.

At 12: 00 we arrive at the Port of Llachón, we visit the house of a local family, who will make us a presentation of their textiles, the how of their daily life, we also visit the craft center in the Plaza de armas of Llachón village, we begin the ascent to the Auki Carus Pata the highest and most important natural viewpoint of the Bay, which allows us to see the snow-capped Illimani mountain range on the Bolivian side of the Lake, If the passengers are not interested in ascending, they have the option of renting kayaks to paddle around Llachón or perform agricultural, textile and mystical activities, then we share lunch, we start the return to the port of Puno and finally proceed with the transfer to the respective hotels.

DAY 8 - 2024: Puno - Cusco

Early in the morning, we will leave by train to the city of Cusco, ancient Incan Empire capital. Enjoy the astonishing high Andean plateau landscape, where you wil find grazing alpacas and llamas, and little villages scattered along the way with the spectacular background of the Andes. This service, full of romance and style, joins two of the most important Peruvian touristic destinies. As an advantage of the elegant Titicaca Train, it provides a panoramic wagon, with windows on both sides and on the roofs, and open balconies to enjoy open air of the surrounding landscape. You will be served a delicious lunch on board.

DAY 9 – 2024: Cusco

AM. Half Day City tour Cusco and toast in Ananay Manco Capac hotel garden (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

You will leave your hotel to do a City Tour of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will begin your tour in the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and center of worship of the Sun God, on which the Dominican order built a church, which remains standing until today. Then, you will tour the Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. You will continue ascending to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing sample of Inca military architecture.

Afterwards, you will head to the Ananay Manco Capac Hotel, where you will enjoy a toast to close your city tour.

Finally, you will return to your hotel.

DAY 10 – 2024: Cusco – Sacred Valley

Visit Chinchero, a small picturesque Andean village. Enter the home of a textile artisan, where you will see some of his original work and learn about his techniques, as well as his creative process. Then visit its important Inca ruins dating back to the end of the 15th century, as well as you can observe in a panoramic way its beautiful and traditional church. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at a viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then it is on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative building complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors' rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress and also a religious center.

Day 11 – 2024: Sacred valley

Full Day Cultural immersion in Misminay. (Private transfer and English-speaking Guide)

Our cultural immersion starts with a visit to the traditional Andean community of Misminay, located in a stunning mountain setting in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and on the way enjoying magnificent panoramic views of the valley. As we arrive at this colorful traditional community, the local people will offer us a warm welcome and a colorful first insight into Andean culture. There, you will participate in one of the community’s traditional activities along with some residents. Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with local products. After your meal, you can take part in another activity with the people of Misminay. It will be an unforgettable cultural exchange experience.

**Activities vary according to seasonality and the work in which the inhabitants are engaged.

Finally, you will return to your hotel.

DAY 12 – 2024: Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco

Full Day Machu Picchu superior (Private service; English speaking local guide)

You will visit one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. Your excursion starts aboard a train towards the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train ride the best way to start your visit. Once you arrive, you will begin the ascent to the ruins. This visit will, without a doubt, be one of your most memorable experiences. After you reach the top, you will take a tour of Machu Picchu, learning the history and mysteries of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. And, with amazing sceneries all around, you will surely have more than one spectacular photo-op.

Then, it’s back to Aguas Calientes where you will have some free time to have lunch (not include in the rate) or visit the surroundings).

Finally, you will board the Hiram Bingham train for the return journey to Poroy station.
