Step into the magical city of Rovaniemi, the official residence of Santa Claus, and embark on an unforgettable Christmas escape. Delight in the comfort of Scandi-style apartments, conveniently situated in the city center. Haawe presents a range of apartment sizes, perfect for both couples and families. As part of this enchanting Christmas experience, you'll have the opportunity to ride snowmobiles, visit a reindeer farm, and, of course, immerse yourself in the wonder of Santa Claus himself.
Day 1
Arrival in Rovaniemi On arrival you will be met by your driver and transferred to the city centre. Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from the airport. Arrival at Haawe and check in. Please note there is no restaurant at Haawe Boutique Apart Hotel, however there are several restaurants available in walking distance. To enter the apartment hotel, you will require a code (sent at time of travel documents).
Day 2
Santa Village & Reindeer Farm A hearty and healthy breakfast is available in the apartment – breakfast includes: porridge, bread, salami, gravlax, cheese, butter, juice, fruit, tea and coffee (selection is subject to change). Today’s adventure starts from the safari centre (one minute walk away), you will discover the secrets of Santa Claus and his trusted helpers. Visit Santa’s official post office, do some shopping, and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch head for the snowmobiles and drive to a reindeer farm. Meet the reindeer, try a short sleigh ride, and take part in the special ‘crossing the arctic circle ceremony’. Return to the city by snowmobile. The rest of the evening is at leisure.
Day 3
Arktikum Breakfast in the apartment. Today is yours at leisure. If you would like to add an excursion for this day, please let us know as we have a complete list of optional fun things to do. A recommended suggestion is a visit to Arktikum – Arktikum is a science centre and museum that lets you experience northern nature, culture, and history up close. Overnight at Haawe.
Day 4
Santa Journey Breakfast in your apartment. After a minute walk from the apartment, you will meet your tour guide for today’s adventure. After a short bus drive, you will arrive in a hidden place, out of town and in the woods. Meet a reindeer herder and another very special man who always wears red and has his wooden house in a secret place. This tour is all about Christmas and a fairy tale journey suitable for the whole family. In the afternoon return to Haawe. Evening at leisure.
Day 5
Departure After breakfast, say goodbye to the capital of Finnish Lapland, as you head to Rovaniemi airport by private transfer.
