Barcelona has become one of the top Tourist Destinations in Spain and it knows how to please the big majority. With a history among the oldest in Europe, Barcelona is a city that never sleeps and has an inland full of charm, as well as beautiful beaches that you see throughout Catalonia.

 

DAY01:
Welcome to Barcelona Airport. Transfer to the Hotel selected. It can be from 3 stars to 5 stars category accommodation.
By the afternoon, we suggest you to participate on a Modernist Architecture tour with an official guide since Barcelona has been called Europeans best Open Air Museum of Modernist Architecture. This tour includes comprehensive visits to some of the most famous and representative examples.

We drive up to Paseo de Garcia, where two of Gaudi’s most interesting buildings are located. Casa Batllo and Casa Mila, also known as “La Pedrera”. (Entrances not included)
Then we drive though the Gracia neighbourhood to Park Guell for a stroll through the park in order to see more of Gaudi’s creativity in the infrastructure of what was planned as a Garden Suburb for wealthy families in the early 20th century.
Finally, we visit the Sagrada Familia, the unfinished Church at present Basilica by Gaudi and the symbol of Barcelona.

The Catalan Gastronomy is one of the highlights of the Culture, so we can reserve and/or recommend some restaurants walking distance from your hotel.

DAY02:
Buffet breakfast and accommodation at hotel.
For the next 4 hours, together with an official local guide we will make a complete tour of Barcelona.
We will start the tour with a drive around Montjuic, the hill which overlooks the city and the harbour, with a photo stop at Major´s Balcony for the panoramic views of the city and the port.

Back on the vehicle for a short drive to the next photo stop at the Olympic Ring, where the most emblematic venues of the 1992 Olympic Games are located: the Olympic Stadium, the Saint George’s Sports Palace, and the Calatrava telecommunications Tower. The visit continues with a drive past the Spanish Village, the National Palace and the trade fair area around Plaza de España. In the city centre we´ll drive up the Ramblas walking to the Old City, the so-called “Gothic Quarter”. We will discover the highlights with the Cathedral and its cloister, the Plaza del Rey and the Plaza de Sant Jaume, the historical and political centre of Barcelona. In the end, we will finish this tour with a short drive along the waterfront to see the Columbus Monument.

Return to hotel.

Afternoon and evening at your leisure. There is an alternative way to get to know the city, through the regular Bus Touristic or the Hop On Hop Off offered in 14 languages just to have an idea about the city. In this case, we suggest you take the West or Orange route starting in Plaza Cataluña which itinerary is the following: Arc de Triomf, El Born- Ciutadella-zoo, Passeig Colom, World Trade Center, Jardins de Miramar, Fundació Joan Miró, Anella Olímpica, MNAC Museo Nacional de Catalunya, Poble Espanyol, Caixa Fòrum-Pavelló Mies Van Der Rohe, Plaça d’Espanya, Estació de Sants, Camp Nou (F.C. Barcelona), Plaça Pius XII-Palau Reial- Pavellons Guell-Monestir de Pedralbes, l’Illa Diagonal, Av. Diagonal, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Plaça Catalunya.


DAY03:
Buffet breakfast and accommodation at hotel.
Day at your leisure with possibilities to participate in the following tours (choose one) to:
• Montserrat and Cavas Cellars
• Montserrat and Sitges
• Girona and Figueres

 

For dinner tonight you can enjoy an original experience with authentic food and an impressive show of traditional Flamenco dance  


DAY04:
Buffet breakfast. As per your flight scheduled departure, transfer from hotel to the Airport. Have a pleasant and safe return home!
