Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Kafue National Park
- Arrival at KKIA Airport in Lusaka and transfer to Kafue National Park. (3-4hrs drive)
- Check-in, settle and relax.
- Dinner
Day 2: Exploring the Northern Sector
- Early breakfast, then head out for a full-day game drive in the northern sector of Kafue National Park. Your guide will take you to prime wildlife viewing areas such as the Busanga Plains or the Nanzhila Plains
- Enjoy a packed snack in the bush, surrounded by nature.
- Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation
Day 3: Safari Activities in the Central Sector
- After breakfast, embark on a morning walking safari or game drive in the central sector of the park. Walking safaris offer a more intimate experience, allowing you to get closer to nature and learn about tracking animals.
- Optional activities could include another game drive or bird watching
- Enjoy a sunset game drive or boat safari, followed by dinner
Day 4: Departure
- Depending on your departure time, you may have an opportunity for one last game drive or leisurely morning at the lodge.
