DAY01: Flight or Train to Lhasa (Elev. 3,650.- m)
Your choice of flying from Beijing/Shanghai/Chengdu/Xian/Chongqing to Lhasa or taking a train from Xining/Lanzhou. Please tell our travel advisor which city you plan to fly from. The flight or train ticket is included. We will arrange a morning flight to Lhasa, and let you have more time to relax and acclimatize in the afternoon.
DAY02: Lhasa
Full day tour for visit of Jokhang and Sera Monastery.
DAY03: Lhasa
Full day tour for visit of Tibetan Landmark-The Potala Palace and also the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas-Norbulingka.
DAY04:Lhasa/Shigatse
Full day adventure with visit of the holy Yamdrok Lake ( at. 4,500.- m ) and the fabulous scenery of Karuola Glacier (at 5,560.- m).
DAY05: Shigatse/Dingri
Half day tour for visit of Tashilunpo Monastery
DAY06: Dingri/Mt. Everest Base Camp (Elev. 5,200.- m)/Shigatse
Full day adventure for visit of the Roof of the World-Mt. Everst and also the highest temple in the world-Rongbuk Monastery at 5,100.- meters.
DAY07: Shigatse/Lhasa
Full day journey along the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon. You will also pay a visit of a traditional Tibetan village on the way.
DAY08: Depart from Lhasa
Free time for leisure and airport transfer on time. End of service.
