The programme:
Day 1
07:00: Depart from the hotel.
08:30: Arrive at Freme Rainforest Lodge - Morning tea, registration & safety briefing
09:30: Travel upstream by longboat (Temuai) to National Park.
10:00: Arrive at Ulu Temburong National Park - Canopy walkway, explore rainforest streams & visit a waterfall
12:00: Depart by Temuai back to the lodge. *Choice of activity: - Rafting/ Kayaking/ Tubing (pre-book)
13:30: Arrive at the lodge. (Lunch. Free at leisure)
16:30: Afternoon tea.
17:00: Depart the lodge for Bangar town for a brief stop and explore the Labu paddy field for a sunset view.
19:30: Local dinner and night walk.
21:30: End of services. Overnight at the lodge
Day 2
05:00: Wake up call.
05:30: Morning walk to sunrise view.
08:00: Local breakfast.
09:00: Freme Adventure Park activities - Multi-tower activities, Zipline
12:00 Check out.
12:30 Local cooked lunch. Free at leisure.
16:00 Depart lodge to Bandar Seri Begawan/ End of services.
What to bring?
To make your trip to the rainforest more comfortable, you may want to bring along the following items:
- Sunblock/ Insect repellent. (unscented is preferred)
- Cell phone/ Camera to take photos.
- A Hat/ Cap. (preferably with chin strap)
- Poncho in case of rain. (umbrella doesn’t work)
- Extra clothes. (you may want to freshen up before returning to the city)
- Ziplock bag to waterproof your valuables.
- Drinking water bottle. (can be refilled at the lodge)
What to wear?
- Quick Dry / Cotton T-Shirts
- Long or Short Outdoor Pants
- Good Trekking Shoes or Boots
Other information:
You will be outdoors for the duration of this tour may be affected by heat, cold, rain and sun. The water level could be high or low depending upon the recent rainfalls and tides. The program may need to be adjusted to meet the conditions. Our staff will advise you of the current conditions and whether these might cause any alterations to your schedule.
