DAY01: Arrival
Arrival to Munich and driving to a Hotel located at the Starnberger Lake area .Here you´ll stay the next two nights. In the afternoon we organize a trip to the beautiful Roseninsel (Rose island) where already Kind Ludwig II and Empress Elisabeth spent their vacations. About 75 km / 1h .
DAY02: Monastery Andechs
Visit the Benedictine Monastery Andechs with its magnificent Baroque interior. Andechs is one of the best known sanctuaries in Germany. Enjoy walking through the brewery with a guide and afterwards you can try the Schweinshaxe or the Schweinsbraten in the Beergarden.
DAY03: Ettal and Palace Linderhof
Linderhof Palace and Park are one of the richest and most artistic ensembles of the 19th century. The “Royal Villa” is the only castle that Kind Ludwig II of Bavaria completed. Take a walk through the beautiful park and Palace. Accommodation in Ettal for two nights. The Hotel is centrally situated, opposite the famous Ettal Monastery.
DAY04: Top of Germany: Zugspitze
Without exaggeration: The 2962-meter-high Zugspitze is a mountain of superlatives. The highest mountain within Germany is home of three glaciers, a unique 360° panorama with Alpine peaks from four countries and an attractive experience offer. We take you to the top.
DAY05:: Wieskirche and the “Disney” Castle
Today you pass a little bit different part of Bavaria, near the mountains you cross forests, grassland and some rivers. Your first stop will be the famous Wieskirche, the Pilgrimage Church of the Scourged Saviour. Take a walk around, the entrance is free. Continue the tour and a half hour later, you arrive at the famous Castle Neuschwanstein. The walk from the parking area to the castle takes about 30 minutes but if you prefer to make it a little bit more romantic, take one of the hackney cabs which takes you for about 6 € to the castle. DAY06: Day: Ammersee – Round trip on the lake
Before the tour is over you have to stop-by at the Lake Ammersee. Take a ride with one of the steam boats and let the little villages pass by, before you leave to the Munich Airport or to a Cityhotel in Munich.
