Portugal has 431 beaches, marinas and boats awarded with Blue Flag in 2022, a number almost 15 times higher than 25 years ago! The Blue Flag Programme continues to work on "Ecosystem Recovery", which is related to the Sustainable Development Goals, mainly those on climate change, poverty eradication, food security, water conservation and biodiversity.
Do your part when going to a beach: take away memories and leave only footprints!
