6-Day Adventure: Exploring Canaima and Angel Falls
DAY 1: CARACAS
Arrival at Caracas Airport and transfer to a hotel located in Las Mercedes, Caracas. Accommodation in a 5 Star Hotel in Caracas.

DAY 2: CARACAS - CANAIMA
You leave Caracas on the first flight at 8 am. It is only a 1-hour flight in a jet to Canaima. After a delicious lunch at the lodge, you will be guided across the lagoon, walk along the pink sandbanks and through the jungle up to the impressive Sapo Falls. From here you can swim in the lagoon or take an adventurous short hike behind the mighty curtain of water that thunders down into the lagoon. Stroll around the friendly Pemon community and learn more about their culture before dinner at the lodge.

DAY 3: CANAIMA LAGOON - ANGEL FALLS
After breakfast, you will walk along a jungle road, before taking a motorized canoe, up the Carrao and Churún rivers, through several sets of rapids, where you will admire the skillful boat handling of the indians.
As you travel along the river, for about 4 hours approaching Angel Falls, you will have the time to take in the lush scenery and the fantastic walls of the Tepuys. You will enjoy a light picnic lunch afterward. Reaching the Devil’s Canyon, you can see the Angel Falls cascading 1 km down from the top of Auyántepuy and running all the way to Churún river. From here, you will walk up through the jungle, for about an hour, to the Laime viewpoint and then down to the rock pools near the base of the falls. If you dare, you may swim in the cool water of Angel Falls. Apart from huts there are no constructions allowed in this remote area. Tonight you have a good sleep in our comfortable hammocks in front of the tallest fall in the world. If you have not experienced sleeping in hammocks, your tour guide will show you how to get a perfect sleeping position, as local Pemons do.

DAY 4: ANGEL FALLS – CANAIMA LAGOON
After breakfast and coffee or tea at the camp, admire the spectacular view of Angel Falls as sunlight graces the walls of Auyan Tepui. Journey downstream back to the camp situated at Canaima Lagoon. Lunch en route to Canaima Lagoon.

DAY 5: CANAIMA – CARACAS
Enjoy your breakfast at the camp and spend a few leisurely hours at the Lagune de Canaima before flying to Caracas at 1:30 PM. In Caracas, enjoy a guided city tour and soak up the atmosphere of this enchanting metropolis.

Day 6: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
End of service.

Recommended travel period:
The tour as described can start on any Saturday between the months of May and November.
Tour starts on other days of the week only on request.
From December to April, due to low water, the tour may only take place with some adjustments.
