9 days Western Balkan Tour: A place where the Romans collided with Illyrians, the Venetians meet Ottomans, the Christianity coexist with Islam. This region is characterized by pristine landscapes, religious coexistence, cultural and historical diversity, excellent food and friendly locals. The tour includes four countries (Croatia, Montenegro, Albanian and Kosovo)

DAY01: Arrival
Arrival in Dubrovnik. Easy walk through the old city. Accommodation at 4* hotels (name of the hotel will be advised). Free evening

DAY02: Dubrovnik
Old town We start the day by taking the cable car up to 778 meter high for spectacular view before we walk down to old town where we can visit the walls of the city, Pile Gate, Bokar-Festung, Rector’s Palace. Then we will take a vessel to the Island of Lorkum before we head Budva in the neighboring country of Montenegro. Arrival in Budva and check-in at 4* hotel. After dinner, you will enjoy evening alongside the town’s beach where dozens of bars are located.

DAY03: Full day Montenegro Tour
After the breakfast, we will visit Budva’s old town before we take you to a full day of Montenegro tour. You will have a chance to experience the contrast of Montenegro, by visiting Lovcen National park and finding out about the roots of modern Montenegro, to the Kotor where you will have a chance to find out about diverse culture and history in this small medieval town under the UNESCO protection. This tour is ending in Perast with visit of Our Lady of the Rock, artificial island with the curch on it. Back to Budva.

DAY04: Around Shkodra/Skadar Lake
We will leave Budva to go to the spectacular Lipa Cave and River Crnojevica. Then we will go via Virpazar and Lake Shkodra (Skadar) to the city of Shkondra in Albania. You will have the chance to visit the Rozafa Castle and different attractions at the inner city. Overnight at a 4* hotel in Shkodra.

DAY05: The Albanian Alps
We will leave Shkodra early in the morning to get the ferry in Komani lake. The ferry line is known for its breathtaking views of the mountain gorges. After we disembark the ferry we will continue to Valbona valley where the Accursed Mountains begin. Then we will cross the border into Kosovo for our next stop –Junik. Here we will learn about Kullas (stone houses) and the code of Lek Dukagjini. Overnight at 5-stars hotel in Peja/Pec.

DAY06: Exploring Western Kosovo
In the morning we will visit Rugova valley and for those in need for adrenaline can take the zipline. The Patriarch of Peja and the the Monastery of Decan are our next stops before we continue to pay a visit the energetic city of Pristina. Accommodation at 5* hotel.

DAY07: A historic journey through Kosovo and Albania
After checkout we will visit the official capital of Kosovo and the monastery of Gracanica. From there we will continue to the cultural capital of Kosovo – Prizren. This charming city of mosques and monasteries dating back to the 14th century has the best-preserved old town in Kosovo by far. From there we will enter Albania towards Tirana. Accommodation in Tirana at 5* hotel.

DAY08: Full day Albania
In the morning we will set off for Kruja, hometown of Skenderbeg, the national hero of Albanians. Then we will continue to Berat that is known for white houses from 18th-century. Berat Castle is a huge compound within its walls we will find Byzantine churches, mosques and Christian icons and a museum. Our next stop is Durres the port city that is home to archeological sides from Illyrian, Roman and Hellenic period. Back to Tirana.

DAY09: Tirana, the capital of Albania
Before we leave you will visit Bunkart the museum inside the atomic bunker to learn about the recent past of Albania. Optionally we can take the gondola to visit mount Dajti before we leave for Tirana International Airport for the return flight.
