Arrival day at Funchal

Arrival transfer from Funchal International Airport to the selected hotel. Overnight.

DAY02:

Madeira

Breakfast and overnight at the hotel. Leisure day or

Funchal walking city tour – guided walking tour to Madeira’s old town, visit to “Lavradores” exotic fruit & flowers market, followed by cable car ride up into the hills to visit the botanical garden and afterwards descending with the also unique toboggans.

All kind of adventures outdoor sports: Trekking; Hiking; canyoning; Bicycle or walking tour until the top of the mountains

Private half day Catamaran tour, taking the opportunity to see the sunset over the horizon

Making “Poncha” workshop – Poncha is a unique drink from Madeira island

Seeking the sunset at the best Cliff’s viewpoints / Private tour: In a classic vintage car, Jeep, buggy or private car – the main goal is to show you the top cliff viewpoints in Madeira while enjoying the sunset with the whole ocean in front of you surrounding the island with a palette of different colours. Finishing with a bottle of the top Madeira’s Wine.

Jeep Safari in the Mountains – an adventurous way to discover the green and lush mountains of Madeira island. They will go through: Paul da Serra – Ponta do Pargo – Paul do Mar – Jardim do Mar – Calheta – Ponta do Sol.

Visit to the West side of Madeira Island (Full day) – with stops at: Câmara de Lobos – Cabo Girão – Ribeira Brava – Encumeada – Porto Moniz – Seixal (Véu da Noiva viewpoint) - São Vicente

Visit to the East side of Madeira Island (Full day) – With stops at: Pico do Areeiro – Ribeiro Frio – Faial – Santana* – Ponta de São Lourenço – Machico

*Santana Houses – These blue, red and white doll houses are singularly unique from Madeira island and one of its brand images.

Visit to the Desertas Islands aboard a Catamaran - This natural reserve is a unique place to visit, with wild landscapes and complete absence of any human form of living. With luck that’s the chance to observe some wild whales, dolphins and sea-birds.

Dinner at a local and traditional Madeira Restaurant – including the typical beef skewer, fried corn and “bolo do caco” (circular Madeiran flatbread served with garlic butter). Possibility of having a show of folklore, regional dances and songs (upon request).

Visit to a Madeiran Wine Cellar followed by tasting this famous sweet wine.

Dolphin watching in a Catamaran, Nau Santa Maria or a Sailing yacht tour

Water sports: Kayaking, Scuba Diving, Snorkelling, Windsurf, Stand-up Paddle, you name it – there’s a whole ocean awaiting!

Once in a Lifetime New Year’s Eve - Aboard a catamaran on Funchal Bay, with a unique position to view one of the biggest fireworks in the world.

The Atlantic Festival – other opportunity to watch the pyro music fireworks show in Madeira island aboard a Catamaran at Funchal bay. Held every Saturday in June.

Departure day

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to Funchal International Airport.
