DAY01: Arrival Belgrade
Belgrade Arrival to Belgrade, transfer to hotel and accommodation. Belgrade city tour : Saint Sava Cathedral – the second largest Orthodox Church in the world, Kalemegden Fortress, Republic Square, National Theatre... Visit to the Ethnographic Museum. Dinner with music in Skadarlija, famous Belgrade bohemian quarter. Overnight.
DAY02: Belgrade - Zica Monastery - Studenica Monastery
Drive along beautiful slopes of Sumadija to Gornji Milanovac and traditional lunch in ural household. Drive on via Čačak to Kraljevo and Ziča Monastery sightseeing /13th century/. Drive on along the Ibar River Valley, known as the Kings Valley for numerous medieval churches built by Serbian Kings to Studenica Monastery, the most significant endowment among the Serbian Medieval churches founded by Stephan Nemanya in the 12th century - UNESCO heritage. Tour of the complex of four medieval churches with monumental paintings. Accommodation in Studenica Monastery Dormitory. "Monastic" or traditional dinner, overnight.
DAY3: Studenica - Gradac - SS Peters Church - Djurdjevi Stupovi - Sopocani Monastery
After breakfast drive to Gradac Monastery, the 13th century Queen Helen of Anjou endowment. Drive on to Novi Pazar, the most Oriental Serbian town and tour of the Djurdjevi Stupovi and Sopoćani Monasteries and SS Peter and Paul Church /10-11th century/. Lunch. Sopocani Monastery /13th century/ houses the most outstanding masterpieces of Medieval paintings and belong to UNESCO heritage. Optional visit to the Ras Museum, old bazaar and the green market. Accommodation and dinner in Novi Pazar hotel. Overnight.
DAY04: Novi Pazar - Durmitor National Park
After breakfast drive to Montenegro to the gorgeous Durmitor National Park, the UNESCO listed sight, passing by the fascinating wild scenery. Lunch on route. Visit to the Crna Reka Monastery /cave church/. Accommodation in luxurious chalets in Žabljak Mountain resort, the highest urban conglomerate in the Balkans at the altitude of 1450 meters. Traditional dinner. Overnight.
DAY05: Durmitor National Park
After breakfast full-day tour of the Durmitor National Park, UNESCO Heritage full of relaxing programs - walks around magnificent Black lake while enjoying magic landscapes. Traditional "shepherds" lunch in mountain cottages. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight.
DAY06: Durmitor - Risan - Boka Kotor Bay - Kotor
After breakfast drive along highway from Zabljak to Risan, tiny fishermen village in Kotor Fjord which houses beautiful Roman mosaics dating from the 2nd century BC. Tour of the Risan archaeological site. Drive to town of Perast, UNESCO heritage site beneath the St. Elijah hill and overlooking the narrowest part of Kotor Bay. Short walk through the winding streets full of palaces built mostly in the 16th century by famous Venetian seafarers and merchants. Boat ride to the picturesque Virgin Mary Island. Lunch en route. Drive to Kotor, UNESCO Town-museum and sightseeing tour : St. Typhoon Cathedral, squares, palaces... Visit to the Maritime Museum. Hotel accommodation and traditional dinner in Kotor. Overnight.
DAY07: Kotor - Dubrovnik
After breakfast drive to Croatia. Arrival to Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic, UNESCO heritage sight. Dubrovnik city tour : the old town, Stradun pedestrian area, fortresses, Orlando Square, oldest pharmacy, palaces.../ Light brunch for lunch, time at leisure. Sea-fish farewell dinner with folklore performance. Overnight.
DAY08: Dubrovnik departure
After breakfast time at leisure until transfer to Dubrovnik Airport. Departure flight and end of tour.
